The Summer Isles consists of three major islands: Walano, Omboru and Jhala. The Smiling Sea divides Walano and Omboru, whilst the Indigo Straits divide Omboru from Jhala. The largest city of the Summer Islands, Lotus Port, is located on Walano. The towns of Last Lament and Tall Trees Town are also located on Walano. The settled valleys of Red Flower Vale and Sweet Lotus Vale are located on Omboru, along with the city of Ebonhead. Koj and the Isle of Birds are amongst the numerous smaller islands.

Vandaras flew over the northern coastal region, Daenya and Adara on his back. The Princess looked down upon an estuary surrounded by a white sandy beach.
She smiled to herself, glad to have finally arrived and lead Vandaras further in land, hoping to find civilization.

Adara had kept her eyes well shut for most of the journey She'd had to drink some wine to steel her nerves but not enough to actually get drunk. But her legs were shaking as they reached land.
"Ooh, I could do with a lie down," she said. "Want some wine, Daenya?"

"I suppose we could land for a short while," Daenya replied, bringing Vandaras low to the ground near a small copse of palm trees, landing him softly.
"I could do with some water and little walk," She said, hopping from the saddle. She had worn thick wooleb clothing to ward off the cold of the sky but now found herself sweating. "It's so hot here! "

"Yes. It's lovely, isn't it?" Adara smiled. The journey of several days had put her in a bad mood but she seemed much happier now they were on land again. She had been very nervous at the beginning, in spite of the wine.
"Do you know who we have to find? Like a lord or a king or someone."

"The only place on my map is Tall Trees Town, though it lies further south." Daenya said as she stretched her legs.
"We will rest here for a bell, then fly until we fins a town or city."

"Oh. So you don't know who the local lord is?" Adara asked. "But he won't know we're coming! Unless...we didn't send a message ahead, did we? I don't see how we could do that." She frowned, looking at Daenya with a perplexed expression.

"Dragons go where they wish, Adara," Daenya said, sounding older than her fourteen years. "Though I do not with to scare the people of the Summer Isles with Vandaras, so it is best to dismount once we see a town and make our way there on foot."
She pulled an orange and a flask of water from her sack, taking a deep swallow before peeling the fruit.

Adara sipped at her wine, knowing it might have to last. She adjusted her clothing.
"Will it be safe to leave Vandaras by himself? What if someone tries to attack him. I don't think they have dragons here."

"He is a fully grown dragon, tested in battle; he can defend himself," Daenya said brightly, eating her orange.
"The only real problem may be language - I doubt there are many in the isles that speak common, so we might have to improvise until then."

Adara nodded. "Do you know the way to the village, then? Um...we will have to find room in an inn or something. And we have to go to the temples. I want to see what it's really like to worship their gods." She grinned.

"I have enough gold with me to last us for a while, and... something else too," Daenya told Adara, ignoring the thing about the temples. The woman still made her a little uncomfortable, especially with what had happened to Daenya herself.
"As for the way... no," She admitted after a moment, once she had finished the orange. "Vandaras will find the way."

"Oh. I didn't know dragons are good at finding their way. Daenya, i wish we had a guard with us, and servants. We should have come on a ship, with an entourage. We won't look like a princess' entourage with just the two of us," Adara sighed.

"It doesn't matter what we look like," Daenya replied, fastening the buckles on her back again, before unhooking her sword from the side of her saddle and fastening it around her waist.
"Vandaras is guard enough, and I am good enough with the sword to protect the two of us, should I need to." She hadn't brought armour, not wanting to weight Vandaras down too much, but she expected to be able to buy some should she need it.
"Shall we?" She asked, fastening her bag to the saddle and hopping on.

"Yes, I suppose so." But Adara grimaced since she was finding that she didn't much like flying, and wished they had come by ship. "I still think we should have brought some servants, at least."
OOC = Vandaras hesitantly allows Adara to mount him, seeming to be fully aware that she isn't entirely comfortable

Daenya let Vandaras take off slowly, heading along the coast. She figured that if there were any cities they would be located near the sea.
"You need not be scared!" She shouted. "Vandaras doesn't like it when someone is uncomfortable!"
She kept her eye out for any buildings.

It doesn't take long before they reach a coastal settlement. According to Daenya's map this is not Tall Trees Town, which lies beyond the jungle, though it means she has found a settlement she knows nothing about. The houses up ahead were round and wooden.
"Shall we try here?" Adara asked.

"As good a place as any!" Daenya shouted back to Adara, landing Vandaras a while out from the settlement. She swiftly changed out of her woolen clothes and into the yellow, form fitting dress she had bought with Vira.
"We should look presentable," Said to Adara with a smile, strapping the sword back on again and taking her a gold piece of out her purse.

Adara dressed in a pale blue gown with a tight bodice and a loose skirt slit up the sides. "Are you going to give that to them?" She asked, eyeing the coin.
Up ahead, they saw several people moving about. The Summer Islanders were ebony-skinned and wore loose robes of bright colours which left their arms bare.

Daenya laughed. "I am taking it in case we need it," She replied, stroking Vandaras' before turning towards the village. "Let us go."
She made her way towards the Summer Islanders, keeping her hand off her sword so as not to seem hostile.

But it seemed pink hair was as remarkable in the Summer Isles as it was in Westeros. The people began to point and shout at her in the summer tongue. Some of their gestures were unfriendly, other downright lewd. But they saw Daenya's sword and did not stop her approach, until a woman in a bright orange robe and matching feathers unslung a golden bow and notched an orange-feather arrow to it.
"Stop!" She cried in the Common Tongue.

Daenya did the wise thing and halted, wondering at the strange culture but being amazed by it at the same time. She smiled openly and kept her arms apart, palms shown.
"I am Princess Daenya Targatyen, of Westeros," She announced herself. "This is Adara Dondarrion."

The woman glared at her.
"You do not belong here. Leave. Now! We want no Westerosi here. Go!"

Daenya frowned. "What is wrong? Why do you not like Westerosi?"

The woman frowned as she thought about the question.
"Why would we like mad people who take the land of others and burn them? Go, go! You are not wanted here."
