"Like you really give a shit," Daenya answered with a laugh. She leaned back in her seat and crossed her legs.
"Humour that frigid bitch all you want but don't pretend at any interest in where I'm going, or why."

"Of course I'm interested. I love to travel, which is why I asked," said Daenerys calmly, set down her empty cup of tea and turned at the younger girl, all sweetness gone from her face. "Let's just get one thing straight - I am not interested in your tantrums or petty insults. They do not get to me in any way because I do not care. What I do care about is civil conversation, so let me ask one more time, if you even have it in you to have one - where are you travelling?"

Daenya laughed in her face. "And you assume I care about your opinion? That I need you to validate me?" She laughed again and shook her head. "I killed a child for being a whiny little brat."
She crossed her legs again and studied Dany. "If you want to know, I'm flying to the Summer Islands."

Daenerys frowned at the princess' confession of having killed a presumably defenseless child. "And are you proud of that? I feel really sorry for your other half for having to put up with you. She must feel terrible."

"She can feel as bad as she wants, it makes no difference," Daenya replied with a shrug. "She knows I'm the stronger one." She paused, shrugged again. "And you're going to war?"

"Probably not," Dany replied with a sigh. "What is there at the Summer Islands besides jungle?"

"Ships, but that's not what I am going there for," Daenya said, winking. "That is the other one's pitiful excuse."
She narrowed her eyes and laughed. "You should come, if you're so interested in traveling."

"And what is yours?" she inquired, giving it a thought. "I would not mind, I think. Who are you going with, hopefully not entirely alone?"

Daenya shrugged. "I don't know, maybe to get away from here." It was obvious there was more to it but she did not seem to care about mentioning it.
"A translator, and that cow Adara," She said after drinking the rest of the tea, a pout on her face. "Not that I care for her one bit, but my father decided she had to go."

"Not to be rude, but that does not seem the best travel company to me," said Dany. The only person she had met that was less likable than Adara, was probably Daenya's second personality. "Are you going by ship, then?"

"Flying," Daenya replied, not bothering to tell Dany that she had already mentioned she would be flying there (ooc you let me off for not paying attention thx).
She thought about something, then smirked. "Father did say I needed someone else to come along; no doubt you'd stand in his favour if you pretended to play the babysitter." She mock-rolled her eyes dramatically.

"How will you get your companions there, do you think your dragon will accept them as passengers?" she inquired, raising an eyebrow. (ooc shut up)
"I care little for any such favours.. but I will consider your offer. It would no doubt be an interesting travel."

"Two passengers per dragon, which is why I need another dragonrider," Daenya explained. "Though I can probably find an interpreter in the Summer Islands."
She rose from the chair and brushed her dressed down. "Having the king not think you an enemy or a fool can be useful. Find me if you want to come, but make your mind up soon."

"He has no reason to think me either of those things," said Dany with a frown, but stood as she saw her guest - although an inconvenient one - was leaving. "I will let you know."

Janos had been meaning to visit Daenerys since he had heard the had got back, though had not found the time till now. As he arrived he knocked on the door before waiting.

Dany opened the door herself, barefoot and a glass of wine in her hand. Although they had never been close, she was happy to see an actual family member, and offered him a genuine smile before kissing his cheek. "Uncle," she said, and opened the door to let him to her solar. Its windows were once again open, the curtains waving lazily in the evening breeze. Candles were lit all over the room, and a thick leather-bound book lay open on the table.

"Daenerys" Janos replied before entering. He looked around for a moment before saying. "I meant to visit sooner, but things have been somewhat busy recently" He paused for a moment, considering his words before asking. "We heard news of the arbor and my Brother shortly before you would have, how are you faring?"

"I am better now," she admitted, although talking about it still stung, and it was not certain it would ever stop. She closed the door and went back to sit in her arm chair, motioning for the Lord Hand to sit down as well. "Sometimes I wake up and forget he is gone.. I know you two were never too close, but it must be sad nevertheless, losing your brother."

Janos took the offered seat before saying "In it's own way, it is" "While we were never close, in my own way I do owe him a lot" He continued.

"How do you mean?" she asked. There was an opened bottle of sweet summerwine on the table, next to a few goblets. "Please, help yourself to some wine."

"Thanks" Janos said as he took a glass and filled it halfway. "All men have secrets, some more than others. For some men they can be as simple as the contents of their coinpurse, others who they will trust, and for some few, they are made up of those, a web of unknown facts and uncertainties" He said before taking a sip. "Edric knew many of such secrets, and knew that there were many others he did not know of, yet he willingly helped keep the illusion, knowing how much it mattered, how much damage it's shattering would do for me" He continued before taking another sip from the wineglass.

Daenerys listened closely now, trying to make sense of all this, but Janos could have been talking in riddles just the same. She could only assume. "And we are talking about your secrets, I suppose? I'm afraid I do not have many of my own.. but then again, you were speaking of men."

"I was talking of my own" Janos said, "The term is metaphorical, meaning all people have something that they keep to them self, something of them that only they know, and a few even have things they do not know of themselves, true secrets that none know of" He continued. "I can guarantee, even without knowing any details, that you will have some secrets, quite possibly minor ones, but they will inevitably exist. Of my own secrets, only my brother ever had the chance to learn the full details of them, and excluding the King and Queen, very few people outside of our house know the extent of the guise, even your grandfather, lord Aurane, only found out well after the web had been assembled."

She sipped some wine before replying. "I think I understand what you mean. I do not mind little secrets. They have the power to give anything an air of mystery. Like when you think back to something and it makes you smile as if you have been a part of something special rather than the ordinary. It is the bigger, heavier things that weigh on you, are they not? In which case it might be a good thing to have someone to confide in." She shrugged, all her big secrect knowledge coming from books.
