Round 7
Valarr begins climbing but Vermilion makes his passage difficult, almost dislodging him this time. He can't quite make it to Laena before Tyraxes again gouges bloody gashes in him, clawing at his arms and shoulders in an attempt to rip him free. But Valarr is tenacious and clings on despite his agony.
(Heavy wound to Valarr)

As Rhaena was getting more frustrated, true to the rumours of them being one soul, Tyraxes also was getting angry, and gashed savagely at Valarr.

Valarr knows he has no other choice but to keep trying. The boy has never known pain like it but grits his teeth. He could only hope that the dragon's thrashing will make Rhaena's attempt to kill him harder.

Round 8
All Valarr can do right now is cling to the harness because he is in so much pain he can barely move, try as he might. It seems that Tyraxes is going to tear him to shreds, piece by piece. Above, Laena attempts to strike Valarr but he is still not quite close enough for her to reach, restrained as she is by her harness chains. Valarr feels that he is nothing but blood and bone and shredded skin.
(Heavy wound to Valarr)

Rhaena was starting to think Tyraxes was prolonging things in purpose. The little shit.

Round 8
Yet again, Valarr is attacked by Tyraxes, who does indeed seem to be enjoying giving the young man an agonisingly slow death. Tyraxes rips so hard that bone is laid bare in several places and Valarr almost blacks out. Perhaps Vermilion is enjoying it too. The red dragon has a glint in his eye and hasn't yet thrown Valarr off.
(Heavy wound to Valarr)
Round 9
There is nothing in Valarr's world now but pain and the desperate need to hang on or else fall to his death. But he is barely conscious. As Tyraxes rips at him, he looks up to see a glint of steel. Laena hovers nearby for just a second, and then she plunges her dagger into his eye. There is sharp pain as it penetrates his brain, and nothing more. His hand slips from the harness and he falls to his death
Laena's eyes gleam with fierce joy and relief as she looks over at Laena. "And so it is done."
Valarr dies)

"Not quite," Rhaena said and moved Tyraxes down, landing on top of the corpse of Vriskarnea, looking at the men gathered expectantly, after doing a fly over to assess the threats.
