Rhaena, Daenerys, Elseyris and Yana in the Stepstones

After flying from Driftmark, Queen Rhaena led those who had come with her south to the Stepstones, to look for Baelon Waters and the ships Dany had borrowed him for his anti-piracy measures. Also keeping a look out in case Exiled Inquisitor Trajan Waters. Who on paper they were trying to avoid, but who Rhaena was trying to find.

"Where should we start to look first?" Rhaena called to the others, having to shout, as they were all flying on dragons, "I suggest nearer Dorne, and then working our way over to essos?"

'Which ever order you feel is best Your Majesty.. I do not know enough of those we are looking for to make a reasonable guess as to their location' Yana says in a tone and volume that carries well amongst the noise around them.

Rhaena flew them round, looking for the ships Dany gave to Baelon, thinking several ships would not be hard to spot, and looked around until they got near to Grey Gallows, thinking it would be a decent place to rest for if nothing else, and also on the look out for what looks like it might lead them to Zyraxes.

Clearly the varying ships indicated pirates, but knowing what she'd heard, baelon was hunting pirates, and Trajan had joined them, it could have been a good enough place to search.

She raised her hand, keeping it up until a flash of thunder, and hoped the others could see her direct them down closer to the ground to follow her. After a bit more flying around, Rhaena seemed to decide something and moved the dragons over the land and getting out her bow, Rhaena sped her dragon round over the top and in a vertical circle over, the sign, and then moved in from the back to attack Elseyris and her dragon, having Tyraxes shoot a jet of flame aimed at the rider, lighting up the sky, using that to fire an arrow in the riders direction also.

Yana gives a small smile of pure joy and gives a peculiler whistle, Spinel roars and arcing around sends a jet of fire at Elseryis when Rhaena and Daenerys are out of the way, Yana when she gets close enough for a good shot would throw slender knifes at Elseryis, hoping for a fatal or crippling blow and her dragon, aiming for the softer parts of the beast.

The bolts of lighting crackling around them paled in comparison to kaleidoscopic jets of flame that filled the sky. Alone, the flames of fresh dragons would typically be too weak to trouble their larger kin, but concentrated, their fire burned hot enough to elicit a thunderclap as the superheated air split against the cool night sky. Spine's flames went low, while Tyraxes' passed close enough to Elsey to singe her hair. Mith's flames, however, caught Caraxes right between the eyes. The tempered dragon hissed in pain as it was temporarily blinded, the thin scales along its eye socket actually beginning to fracture from the intense heat. The knives and arrow simply clattered off Caraxes' thick scales.

Rhaena cursed as she just missed Elseyris with the flames. Thinking the fire was only good for the surprise attack, Rhaena commanded Tyraxes forwards, going high and circling down, getting him to scratch and bite into Caraxes while he was regaining his vision from the fire, trying the aim for the already injured eyes, to further ruin it's vision.

Despite the rage and fear she felt, fighting three dragons at once seemed like madness, and so Elsey spurred Caraxes round, pulled upwards to get above their attackers, and made a break Northwards.

Mithrax flew down after the two and attempted to either free Tyraxes from Caraxes's grasp or inflict more damage.

Rhaena felt her and Tyraxes begin to fall, but she was not going to let go until she had to, it might have given Caraxes time to fly off, which she would not allow. She clung on and kept Tyraxes slashing and biting at Caraxes.

Tyraxes may have been the smaller of the dragon of the pair, but he was vicious and stubborn, talons finding purchase in Caraxes' scales as rows of razor sharp teeth nipped at the larger dragon's neck and belly drawing torrents of molten blood. Yana and Dany could find no way to intervene between the two, the dragons and riders locked in a deadly spiraling embrace as the sea steadily rose up to meet them.

Dany made Mith dive down at the pair and attempt to snap at Elseyris, or send a few jets of flame her way in case Rhaena and Tyraxes were to break free.
