In the air, Zyraxes and Mithrax continued to tumble. A flash of lighting revealed Trajan clearly: an unkempt black beard on his face, the same dead violet eyes, and a sway in the saddle that indicated he might be drunk. "Father does not offer pardons!" he shouted in reply, "Only fire and blood! It does not take four dragons to deliver a message!" A jet of flame from Mithrax's maw took Zyraxes full in the face, allowing it to break off and regain the distance desired. (Zyraxes take an Average Wound) "Your father is dead!" Daenerys shouted back and the echoing scream that carried over sent an unpleasant shiver down her spine. She turned Mith around swiftly and flew over to Rhaena.

Trajan was taken aback by the information, bewildered enough to buy Daenerys enough time to return to Rhaena's side on the ground. He kept a safe distance above the pair as he regained his ground, Zyraxes approaching with less murderous intent now.
"Is it true?" he asked Rhaena when he was close enough for his voice to carry. "By whose hand?"

"It is." Rhaena said, looking up at Zyraxes and Trajan from the ground, keeping an eye on him as she leaned to reach into her bag, eyes never leaving the man and Dragon, in case she needed to quickly have Tyraxes take off, "It was Maekar, or Maekar's whore on his orders. He declared himself king."

"Any fool could see he coveted the throne." Trajan remarked, unsurprised, keeping his position above them. "Though why one would desire such a thing is beyond me."
"What does surprise me is that you are not by his side."

"Why does that surprise you?" She asked, still looking up as she got his pardon out of her bag and held it, in her hand in it's holder.

Trajan shrugged, as if the answer were obvious.
"On whose authority do you offer that?" he asked, pointing to the scroll.

"On my own," she said, "I married Aegon, I am Queen now, and I am carrying his heir"

"I see you took my advice then." he remarked with a thin smile, as if he had not just attempted to murder them, landing Zyraxes and dismounting easily. "I suppose congratulations are in order."

Yana watches the man carefully, not trusting him after he stealthily attacked them. She picks her way over the stones to the group.

"It seemed like good advice," she commented, thinking back to that conversation, "just a shame the rest of what you said may be a bit harder to pull of now, and I have probably lead my husband to hate me with this misadventure." Rhaena said looking down at the smouldering corpse of Elseyris.
"I have never thought father wrong before, but exiling you was wrong, he seemed to make several strange decisions before he died," she said to Trajan, thinking it also made no sense, "you always served my father loyally, I would like you to transfer that loyalty to me," with that she chucked the pardon, with it's royal seal over to the inquisitor.

Trajan drew his crossbow at Yana's approach, aiming it at her head.
"This one, I do not know." he added.

"This is Yana Snow," Rhaena told him, "she gave us word from father of Maekar's betrayal. I trust her." In as far as she trusted most people.
"Yana, this is my brother, Trajan." She introduced, thinking it only the right thing to do.

"Yes, I imagine that will bring trouble to the marriage bed." he replied, inspecting Elseyris' charred corpse with amused interest, before taking the offered pardon. "Though I will will lament a return to being a bachelor. I suppose I owe you some small gratitude for that." He made no remark regarding their father's strange behavior, the topic an apparently a sore one. His only acknowledgement of Yana's introduction was lowering the crossbow.

"Do with it what you will. I've given it to you, and you are no longer exiled. Cone with me, go to Maekar, stay on this rock and do... Whatever has been giving your life meaning," she clearly didn't think it was much from her tone. "Piracy, really?"

"Aegon and I did not exactly part on the best of terms." he said lightly, pulling his dirk and kneeling down beside Elseyris' body. "Do not judge. There are only so many professions available to a man of my proclivities, especially with a bounty on my head."

Yana inclines her head slightly acknowledging both, though her eyes stay on him, she looks fairly neutral in expression, but its clear she doesnt trust him dispite him lowering the crossbow, perhaps future actions from him may prove otherwise, but until then she remains quitely on guard.

"Yes, but there is not much he can do," Rhaena commented looking down at Trajan kneeling, "he may be king, but he doesn't have the unlimited power perhaps he and others think he does. He will put up with it, and besides, if you and he will not have to see one another much if you work for your queen."

Trajan gripped the three least charred fingers he could find, breaking them with a fluid motion before sawing them off with his dirk. His promise kept to his not entirely dearly departed wife, he stood and dusted off his breeches.
"You will make a stronger queen than your mother with that attitude." he commended, pocketing the severed fingers. "When do we depart?"

"Maekar killed her too," Rhaena said, voice even, though her eyes sparked, she'd loved her father more than her mother, she had been at odds with Rhaella on the little things, like how she dressed and how she acted, too much like a little boy than a young princess, she often thought that despite the old Queens protestations, the Andals had rubbed off on her somewhat.
"We leave as soon as you are ready, I have done what I came here to do, I imagine you'll need to say a fond farewell to your new friends." she said, looking at Elseyris corpse rather than at Trajan now, "although, you crippled Yana's dragon. I do not know if it will be able to fly with a broken wing."
A new thought seemed to come upon her, "we also need to look for Baelon Waters."

"If you are looking for sympathy, I have none to provide." he replied, remounting his dragon. "Yes, I suppose I should say a fond farewell to my comrades. I will spare a ship for the crippled dragon, though I do hope that serves as a lesson to the dangers of tunnel vision."
With that, Trajan flew off towards the moored ships without another word. When Zyraxes got close, flames erupted from its mouth without warning, bathing the unsuspecting ships in flame. Hundreds of pirates died in confusion as their fleet burned, slain on a whim by the man they served. True to his word, Trajan left one ship remaining for Spinel.

Yana looks peeved and like she's concidering setting up a fatal date for the princeling 'Spinel needs her wing setting.. Then I guess its walking for us once we reach a decent peice of land.. Unless there's someplace safe I can leave her to heal while we carry on if one of the dragons agrees to carry a passanger?' She doesn't look comfortable with leaving Rheana alone.

"When have I ever looked for sympathy, I am looking for revenge." Rhaena said, as the man mounted and looked to Dany as he took off, seeing Mithrax was also slightly wounded, and offering her a sad smile, though she imagined it would not be well received. She looked on as Trajan destroyed the pirates, almost disapproving, they could have used the ships, down the line at least.
"Thank you both, it was more costly than I imagined it would be." It was as way of an apology, "perhaps we should sell the dragon bones. they are worth a great deal. Trajan says he will leave a ship for Spinel," Rhaena told Yana, looking round at her, seeing the suspicion, "and I looks as if he has."

Yana shrugs 'money is useful when trying to take a crown back.. And the beasts dead it will just rot otherwise..' Yana's eyes follow him 'so it would seem' she says pessimisticly. She nods slightly that she understood the apology for what it was 'Spinel will mend My Queen'

"That he will, and quickly, as dragons do," she already felt better, now elseyris was dead, it felt like a weight was off, even though she logically knew, it should be just different.
"You do not need to watch Trajan so closely, Yana, if he were going to do something I think he would have done it."

Yana nods 'As you wish My Queen.' Yana keeps half an eye on him instead, not trusting him after the sneak attack and to not flame them as he did the pirates. 'Where do we go from here?'
