"Only the most adventurous are allowed," Daenya said with a laugh, though she eyed Leona. "There is Dornish Sweetwine in those kegs over there, please help yourselves to it. A gift, from cousin Daenerys."

"Why would people talk of Ser Axell and I?" she asked, and then grinned, knowing her teasing might hit home more than it should and not minding overly "Daenya should get her priorities in order," Rhaena commented, "And if we were the subject of us became more public knowledge it would not bother me, we need not concern ourselves with the chirruping of the insects."

Arwyn seemed slightly reassured by Baelon. She nodded, but eyed somewhat nervously. "Thank you," she whispered. "It will take some time to become used to court."
"I can fetch you wine too, princess?" Leona offered

Ser Trajan Waters entered, carrying an unwieldy bundle under one arm wrapped in fabric which he handed to Daenya.

"Of course you can," Daenya said, handing her glass to Leona before turning to Baelon. "Yes, I think talking to Aegon."
She then looked up when Trajan entered. "Brother, what... is this?" She asked, taking the bundle and opening it, expecting the worst.

"A tall order," Aegon smiled with good humor. "I think my first priority will be to do something about the smell. That or a royal edict banning people from talking loudly during plays. Truly, the pressing issues of our era." Daenerys laughed, genuinely amused, and studied the prince for a while before replying. "I don't think I have ever seen you jest like that. I am glad you're enjoying yourself," she said. Sure, there had been moments of lightheartedness when they were on Dragonstone all those years ago, but they had been children back then. She feigned a solemn expression, "In all seriousness, the talk at plays must be eradicated." "Mm. I suppose I'm not always the most lighthearted of men, particularly in recent months," Aegon replied, "But I've had cause to reflect that responsibility and loss do not necessarily need to end in self-flagellation." He smiled. "You mentioned you intend to leave the city? Back to Driftmark, I take it?"

Wisdom Waxley stood outside the doors to the hall, watching as a steady stream of guests entered the party. He heard the chatter and mirth spilling out of the doors. He stood around wondering if he should make up a lie that he was invited. He rubbed his head and tried to arrange his hair with fingers which accomplished nothing productive. In his mind, he imagined clearing his throat then strolling into the hall with a big grin on his face and performing a trick of fire so that he could show everyone how amazing he was. The princess and the rest of the guests would clap and bow and he would wave to them, then the party would resume and small pockets of guests would chatter about how amazing the pyromancer was. Splendid, mirthful, powerful, those were some of the words. He would have a pleasant conversation with the princess and even eat some cake while conversing with other important people. When it was time to present gifts to the young princess, he would of course outdo everyone. Everyone would clap again and he would bow with a bashful smile, but deep down he would think how they were all worms. He could crush them if he wanted to! Suddenly the hall would tremble and the roof would be torn from the hall. Several people would be crushed by rocks, people he didn't like and wouldn't miss, mostly the people that interferred with his order. A huge giant man in armour would be swatting at dragons as if they were flies and he would pick up the small princes and princesses and toss them into his mouth one by one while everyone ran around screaming. Waxley would be the sole man of action, he would daringly defy this giant man and combat him with his powers.

Baelon chose to take the opportunity to leave the conversation. Trajan had always creeped him the fuck out.
"Arwyn, why don't you get some wine for yourself and the girls? I need to have a word with my cousin."

The back of it was wooden, blackened by flames. As she flipped it over, it revealed the depiction of a familiar fat man with a bushy beard and wide smile, with a mug of ale in either hand. It was the sign that had once hung over Bert's Tavern, apparently salvaged from the wreckage.

"Of course." Arwyn shepherded her sisters over to the wine, glancing worriedly at Baelon, wondering who he was going to speak to next.

Daenya stared down at the sign, her eyes narrowing for a moment before she smirked.
"I wonder if he enjoys Balerion's flames in the hell he is," She said quietly to Trajan.

Baelon made his way over to the Crown Prince and Daenerys Velaryon.
"Nephew. Cousin. I do hope I'm not interrupting, but it is good to see the both of you. Not since your father's coronation, I think, Aegon."

"I suppose you are right," he replied slowly, though inwardly he was not entirely convinced. "I would not see you looked down upon, due to our... relationship."

Aegon nodded. "I think you're right. I wish you could have joined us, but I heard you gave Redwyne hell all the same."

"Yes, Driftmark," Dany replied to Aegon before Baelon arrived. She had a smile for him, for he was definitely her favourite royal bastard, mainly because she thought him to have a rather easy-going nature and they both loved the sea. And he was not a psychopathic maniac like the other two. "Good evening, Baelon. How is Seaskimmer? Willem Sunglass told me of his injury."

"Other way around, more like. We burned some of them, but they beat us all the same." Baelon told Aegon, before replying to Daenerys. "He is well. Flying again. My deepest condolences about your father. He fought bravely."

"But that's enough darkness." Baelon said, seeing he'd touched a nerve. "I should let you know, I am recently betrothed, to Lady Cuy. You are of course both invited to the wedding. And I was hoping to speak with you, Daenerys, about a proposition that's been rolling around in my mind."

Rhaena was half surprised he had not hurt his neck with the speed of it turning, he did not need that to add to his malady list. "People need my consent to look down on me, and they certainly do not have that. But you sell yourself short, Waters may have been your name, but you are as much a Targaryen as any of us." She let go of his hand though and shook her head, "I do not wish you to be uncomfortable though,"

Although I guess we will be seeing a lot of those in the near future, hmm?" she said, nudging Prince Aegon's arm. "Of course. What is it that you wish to propose?" she asked, turning back to Baelon.

"Oh, that can wait." Baelon told her, more interested in his nephew's apparent nuptials. "Who's our most eligible prince going to get tied down with? Rhaena? Can't be Daenya, she's too young."
