"Thank you, it's one of my favorites." She seemed more pleased that he complimented her choice of wine than her beauty. "Do you not prefer brown eyes? My mother has brown eyes."

"I find the color of a woman's eyes rarely matters to me" Sergio replied and sipped from the wine, "I am a good judge of character, and the eyes are the best reflection of spirit, and heart."

"Do my eyes say I have a good heart, then?" She found his manner enticing. No wonder her mother was so taken with him...and so careful.

"A strong heart I would say." Sergio replied, and then leaned in very close to study her eyes, "And a bold spirit. Only a little good, it looks like there may be a bit of an impetuous nature in there." He smiled, and tilted his head as if looking at her eyes from another angle, "That usually means a very passionate woman."

She laughed. "I am descended of Dornish blood and Valyrian both. From one the desert sun and the other a dragon's fire. Could I be anything other than you describe? My blood would not allow it." She leaned forward and peered into his eyes. Her robe gaped a little, revealing her sheer chemise beneath. "Hmmm, your eyes are so dark, I see only secretiveness in them. Perhaps I am not so practiced at reading someone's gaze as you are, my lord."

"It is a teachable skill. I am sure you can learn it." Sergio replied, he sipped his wine, allowing him to flick his eyes down her robe, "All you have to is really study some one's eyes. Closely." He winked at her, "If you would like to practice I would be glad to aid you in any way required."

"I can see it being useful. How should I begin?" She noticed his gaze drift downward and she wrapped the robe tighter with the tiniest of smiles. She sipped her wine and reclined in her chair.

Sergio leaned forward, and said, "The key to reading another's eyes is truly simple. You must know yourself first. Absolutely and truly." He raised a hand to cover his heart, "Every man has the ability to see into another. Men and women they are not complex. The failing is in the heart of the looker. We all want the world to be what we want to be and not what it is. So the first step is knowing yourself enough to remove your blinders." He reached out and placed two fingers atop of her heart, and asked, "Do you know yourself that well? What is in your heart?"

Visenya glanced down at his hand on her chest and grinned. "Do I need to tell you? I feel like a lady should retain at least some of her mystery."

Sergio laughed at her words. "Well there is no need to tell me of course." He glanced around to make sure that no one was with in hearing distance, "Though I will admit that I would like to know your heart truly."

"Why is that? We have only just met, my lord." She sipped at her drink. "Though I must admit you have me quite curious."

Sergio smiled, and his eyes held hers directly. His fingers folded into in front of his chest as he spoke. "I find you completely captivating. It is not just your beauty, but a woman like yourself being forced to the life you have. It must have informed you in interesting ways."

"You could say that," she said, toying with a strand of her long pale hair. "Living in this castle has taught me many things."
"You are a fascinating man yourself, you know. Braavos is a terribly interesting city. I should like to go there someday. I am sure my mother longs to visit as well."

"When your mother and I have spoken it is not Braavos she talked of but Dorne." Sergio replied and his eyes followed her hand as it moved. "I would love to show you my city. To see your astonished glare when you first see the Titan of Braavos would be a great pleasure indeed." He smiled to himself and moved his eyes back to met hers.

"But of course. Dorne is the land of her childhood, of her life before my fathers actions against the crown complicated it and widowed her. Three years is a long time to mourn."
"As for myself, I would love to see Dorne again. I would love to see anyplace outside of this castle and this city. The Titan does sound very impressive. Tell me, is it true that he was not sculpted by mortal hands?"

"He was not. He was a king once of a land to the south. He made a pledge to protect Braavos for a thousand and one years if we would search the world for his lost love. It is the duty of every Braavosi who sails the great seas to look for a woman of such beauty and grace. A woman so gorgeous a man would give a thousand years vigil to earn her love." Sergio studied her face closely and the line her neck, "Though I had never considered until this moment how hard it would be to simply turn that woman over to another."

"You suggest I might be lovely enough? I most fervently hope not, if I am to be given to the Titan of Braavos. He might be more than I could safely handle." She laughed at her own joke.

Sergio smiled at her with roguish grace, "if you stretched yourself I am sure you would be able to handle any obstacle, No matter how large. You would simply need to dig deep inside of yourself." He reached out and brushed her cheek lightly, "And with no doubt you are one of the loveliest creatures I have ever been so blessed to witness."

Visenya was sufficiently buttered up by this charming foreigner and swelled with pride. She caught his hand and held it against her cheek. "So what is the real reason you came to me this afternoon? Surely not just to lavish me with the most beautiful compliments I have ever received? You haven't come to hone your flattering tongue on Westerosi women, have you?"

Sergio glanced at the serving girl, and leaned his mouth in close to whisper into Visenya's ear. "I have some ulterior motives for joining you here. Perhaps we could delve more deeply into my ideas if we were alone." His lips were so close to her ear she could feel the heat of his breath.

Vise ya smiled. Whatever his intentions, she welcomed them. "Leave us, Lissa," she commanded, her eyes not leaving Delinaal's face.
The girl curtseyed and left. Visenya did not speak again until she heard the door close securely. "You may speak freely now, my lord."

"I do have something to say, but first there is one thing I have been thinking about since I entered." Sergio replied, and leaning in he kissed her. As the kiss lingered his hand moved up to take her by the waist. He released the kiss slowly, and smiled deeply, "Well that was pure fire. But not why I came to visit you." He stroked her hair, and added, "Your mother has asked me to rescue her, and her children."

Visenya brushed her hair back from her face with one hand, somewhat breathless from the kiss still. "R-rescue us? What do you mean by that?" She was not prepared for seriousness after that.

Sergio glanced at the door and spoke in a velvety voice. "Come closer. It would be far better to be taken as lovers then schemers." He motioned for her to sit in his lap.

She obeyed, nestling her bottom securely on his knee. She shifted her weight, less to get comfortable than to rub her plump rear against him provocatively. "Indeed it is so, my lord. Now tell me what you would have me know."
