Rhaena was not there, but was just returning from the city, and saw her sister looking into her tent.
"Looking for me?" She asked, smiling a bit as she approached Daenya.

Daenya jumped a little and turned about. "There you are, sister," she said with a smile. "Shall we sit? How are you?"

"Well enough, busy," she said but smiled as she sat and motioned for daenya to do likewise. "More importantly, how are you?"

Daenya sat down as well and crossed her legs. "I am fine - the arm is a little uncomfortable and I can't scratch it when it itches, but otherwise I am alright." She grinned and pointed at the pinkness on her head. "Do you like my hair??"

"I did not when I first saw it, but I think t suits you well," she said, voice thoughtful if Daenya thought she would make a comment unprompted, she did not know Rhaena very well, "What if wrong with our hair though?"

Daenya smiled. "Nothing! I'm just a bit bored with it and, well..." She laughed a little. "I've always thought of maybe dying it, but couldn't ever find any dye in King's Landing. Oldtown though..."

"Why dye it?" She said, frowning, wondering if her sister not want to be recognisable as one of them.

"Why not?" Daenya replied, a little offended that her sister would be so put off. "It's fun."

"It is not my idea of it, but do as you will," she said, a little dismissively. She'd never dye her hair, especially not a colour as garish as pink, but it was not her hair, and it did suit Daenya, "have you shown mother?" She said, a small smile breaking out at the thought of their mothers reaction.

But Daenya frowned. "Not yet, though I assume she won't like it, just like you," She answered, looking away.
"Is there maybe a better time to speak? You seem off..."

"Do I? Sorry for that," she said looking properly at Daenya, "I suppose I have a lot on my mind,"

"We all do," Daenya said with an agreeing nod. She sighed and pulled out a small book she had carrying in her sling. "I was reading this and... well, it gave me a thought."
She held the book out to Rhaena - it was a Meereenese book concerning slave trade, translated by Maester Wyrren.

Rhaena looked at the diver of the book and almost felt like chucking it out the door, but then read the cover, "a spot of light reading then?" She said, looking back up to Daenya, "Odd book for someone who lives in a country with no slavery to be reading," her look spoke of considerable interest and she smiled properly now, "do you think father might be interested in this book?"

"We are of Valyrian Blood, and the Freehold took up a great part of the world," Daenya answered, her eyes still on the book. "I like reading about the world of our ancestors."
At Rhaena's suggestion, she nodded. "I think he would. There is a chapter devoted entirely to those slaves sold into fighting pits... pits that generated vast amounts of money for the rulers of Meereen."

"That is very interesting, daenya," Rhaena said eyes trained on the book herself as she thought, "I had always admired the organisational structure of meereen, I am planning a trip east, if the king is agreeable, perhaps I can scope out the way they organise these fighting pits?"

"That might not be a bad idea. Though, how long will you be gone?" She checked that her sling was hanging right and straightened her dress.
"I wilk be visiting the Summer Isles for a while though I hope not to be gone for too long."

"I do not know how long it would be, I have never made the journey, and know of no one else who has on a dragon, but it is part of a longer journey Daenerys and I were thinking of going on," she said, sounding excited for a second before her face dropped, "if I can even go now,"

Daenya pouted. "What do you mean, if you can go?" She asked, leaning forward. "Has... has something happened?" She added with a worried expression.

"No, nothing," she said, not convincing herself either, "just you know, everything depends on father, he might ship me off for marriage, or I have purposes for me, serving the crown comes before serving myself."

Daenya raised an eyebrow but simply nodded, not wishing to pry. "I am sure you will be able to do as you wish for a while yet. We are both young after all, and shouldn't have such big responsibilities yet!"

"I'm ten and six, Daenya, hardly as child," she commented, tsking and rolling her eyes, "We've both fought in a war, it would not be a stretch to assume there may be other things we would be required to do." she shrugged for the last part, it mattering little to her.
"Daenya, do you see much of Aegon?"

"Sixteen isn't exactly old though, sister," Daenya replied. "But you are right, we are proven in battle..." She sighed and sat back, rubbing her eyes.
At Rhaena's question she looked up. "Not much... I spoke with him after the battle, but it was brief. Why?"

"I was just wondering, I see little of him myself. But if you do, could you do me a favour, and try to persuade him to consider the valyrian gods?" she suggested, as easily as she could.
