Aegon Targaryen has pitched his tent outside of the walls, with the army encampment, for the time being.

Daenya was finally able to walk again, though her arm was in a sling. She wore a simple roughspun dress in green, her hair in a bun.
"Brother, are you here?"

The guard at Aegon's tent was heavy. No one could be sure what a fanatic might do, even with the war over. They let Daenya pass easily enough, however. Aegon is at his small camp table, apparently writing a letter. In the hectic days following the battle, he had not had a chance to speak to his sister. He did not seem particularly happy to see her, however. "I am here," Aegon confirms. He sets down his quill and looks at Daenya. "Your wound is healing well, I hope?"

Daenya entered the tent and looked about, before facing her brother.
"I am, thank you. It seems you were lucky enough to escape without any wounds." She observed, before finding a chair and sitting down. "Though it would help if you smiled once in a while."

"Daenya..." Aegon ran one hand through his hair, frustrated. "You defied my orders, twice. I assigned you to my wing so that if one of us got in trouble, the other could help them. Like Maekar did with Rhaena," Aegon pointed out. "Yes, I wasn't hurt. But that isn't the point." He could not just shout at her like one of his soldiers, nor could he comfort her as a big brother. Aegon almost missed the time when he went to war without his family. It made things simpler.

"I am aware of that," Daenya replied, not precisely knowing what to tell him.
"I believed it was more important to kill Hector, and that the moment I flew off the flank was already broken," She finally said in simple tones. "It is not an excuse, merely an explanation."

Aegon frowned. "Was it," he always had a difficult time putting his sister's curse into words. "Was it one of your... episodes?"

Daenya narrowed her eyes, then nodded. "I can't lie to you. It was her, but she came a while before deciding to fly away. She stayed until the flank was routed."

"I see," Aegon said, though he did not. Aegon primarily understood war -- whatever ailment of the brain or the spirit that his sister suffered from was a complete mystery to him. Whatever it was, however, Aegon did not seem to think punishment was appropriate. "Did you have something you wanted to see me about?"

"As a matter of fact, I do..." Daenya said, hoping this would not be too awkward. She was relieved however that her brother was not angry with her. She had been dreading his reaction and was glad he seemed to be... not understanding, but unwilling to be mad.
"Glutton ate, Ser Hector, did he not?"

"He did," Aegon acknowledged.

"And has he..." Daenya began, wondering how she should phrase this. "Has Glutton... expelled the Dragonbane yet?"

Aegon gave his sister a very odd look. "Digested... I imagine," He said slowly. "I do not keep track of that sort of thing." He wondered if his sister was having one of her 'episodes' right now.

Daenya couldn't help but smile a little at her brother's confusion. "You see, brother... with any luck Ser Hector's armour will have remained hale. I was hoping to make use of it."

"I have seen Glutton eat rocks before," Aegon said. "Actual rocks. I doubt anything recognizable will be coming out of Glutton, other than... the usual. I suppose the servants who are in charge of removing that sort of thing can keep an eye out for it, if it would make you feel better."

"Thank you, Aegon," Daenya said cheerfully. "I would assume dragon scales would be tough to digest, even for our winged friends. But we will see, I suppose."

"So we will," Aegon said. "I am not sure how the man managed it, truth be told. His armor seemed immune to flame as well, though only the shield was dragonscale."

Tanis landed heavily to the ground. Her heart was heavy as if she had felt the loss of her kin in the air. Arenya climbed down and looked at her friend, "I know. I feel it too..", she whispered to her.
She looked for the Prince's tent, it was obviously the one with heavy guard. She walked over the guards waiting to enter to talk to her newphew.

"I can only hope both will remain whole," Daenya agreed. "So... what will happen now? Will we return to King's Landing soon?"

"In time," Aegon said. "First we must learn of mother's progress, and --" Serendipitously, one of the guards stuck his head into the tent to announce the Lady Arenya Targaryen. "I should meet with her," Aegon told his little sister, standing up. "Make sure you get your rest, Daenya. I will tell Father you were very brave."

"Of course, brother," Daenya said, walking up to him and giving him a small kiss on the cheek, before leaving the tent.

For the first time, Aegon smiled briefly. As Daenya left, he called out to the guards to allow Arenya in.
"Arenya. Please sit." Aegon had scrounged up two new cups and a bottle of wine from the city, and he poured a glass of wine for his aunt. He sat down in the opposite chair. "What news from the Arbor?"

She entered with a smile, glad to see him still with breath. But she also wondered after her niece.
She took a glass of the wine, "I will not lie to you nephew, it did not go well. We're have injured dragons and kin..." Arenya paused and sipped,"Lord Velaryon is dead... I must tell his daughter before she heard it elsewhere."
"The queen stands vigil at Sun house with the others. The only dragons in good health are hers and mine. I am to be a messenger to the king once I leave here, if you wish it." She had a small frown in her face, the words in her mind troubled her, She didn't want to say them.

Aegon frowned at the news. "How many ships remain to us?" Aegon asked. "And how many do the enemy possess?"

"Our ships number a paltry 45 while the Redwyne still holds 85 ships in their command", she looked at him. "That is not what troubles me nephew."
"It seems that as a result of our loss", Arenya swallowed,"Your mother wishes to seek a peace with these people!!! I.. I have no reason to believe that they would even honor such a request from us."
She paced,"For the life of me, I do not know why it even crossed her mind... Maybe it was because of the death of your sister for her betrayal or the loss of Lord Velaryon but I can not fathom your father, my brother taking that idea even into a moment of thought." Arenya shook her head,"I am at a loss of words nephew, but whatever you say here and now is what I will do."
"Do you want me to relay this news to the King or would you rather have words with your mother?"
