Aerion Strongdragon simply laid sprawled on his back, struggling enough to breathe, let alone continue the fight. "If you flee... I will come after you."

"That has worked well for you thusfar." Lord Harlan remarked with a derisive sneer.

"Fuck you old man." Aerion slowly rose, favoring his left arm as he did so. "And fuck your daughters too."

"Don't get ahead of yourself." Harlan remarked, seemingly in high spirits now. "That's for after you've said the vows."

Despite his grievous injuries Aerion released a hoarse chuckle after he finally got the joke. "Oh, that's still going ahead?"

"Aye, you'll be granted the most desolate speck on the Iron Islands I can find." he said with satisfaction. "The most impoverished keep, where you'll live under my rule. I look forward to it."

"You're a funny one." Greyjoy remarked, apparently having gotten his rage out at Aerion's expense, though he kicked Strongdragon in the teeth with his armored boot. "Remember this beating. I am sure it will be the first of many."

Aerion fell on his back and slowly faded from consciousness. He dreamed of calamari.

"He took a hit to the wing. Won't be able to fly for a time, but it will heal eventually." Baelon shook his head at the memory. "Swam us back to the ship. I don't know how he did it." "Oh. A strong and brave creature to be sure. He may stay here until he is well enough to fly," Arwyn replied. "I would be happy for you both to stay with me." She smiled slightly. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

"I can think of a few things, but none that are appropriate in front of your sisters." Baelon replied, though it may have been the wine doing the talking. "Whom I have not yet met. Remind me of your names, girls."

Arwyn smiled and told her sisters to put aside their tasks for now. All of them were attractive, with the same pale skin as Arwyn, and their dresses were similarly plain. All but the tallest had their sister's chestnut hair and brown eyes. The tallest girl, also the eldest, had honey blonde hair.
"Sisters," she said. "This is Baelon Waters, brother to His Grace King Maegor. Baelon, these are my sisters, Leona, Megga and Lysa."
She named them in order of seniority and the girls curtsied in respect. Leona was the blonde girl, a maiden of fifteen. Plumper than her older sister, who grinned warmly at Baelon. Megga was next, a tall, awkward girl of twelve, not yet a maiden flowered, who blushed and looked at her feet. Lysa was ten years old, freckled and curious. Her dress was torn and her hair disordered.

"A pleasure to meet you girls. I do hope we'll get to know each other quite well." Baelon turned to Arwyn, "Have you told them about us?"

"Of course," she said with a small smile. "But it is for you to say whether the agreement is to be made official, is it not? I did not wish to presume in your absence."
Lysa tugged on Baelon's sleeve. "Can I see the dragon? Arwyn won't let me go near the Queen's dragon."

Baelon smiled at Lysa, and leaned down to tell her, "Of course you may. He's still down aboard my ship, though, and he isn't feeling very well, so I think it would be best if we waited a few days."
He straightened up, and turned back to Arwyn. "If it's up to me, aye, we're betrothed. Hells, if it's up to me, we can have the ceremony tonight." He smirked. "But I understand if you'd rather take some time to plan things."

Lysa skipped around the kitchen crying "I'm going to see a dragon!" until Megga hustled her from the kitchens. Leona remained, slowly chopping onions so she had an excuse to eavesdrop.
Arwyn gave Baelon an apologetic glance.
"Sorry about that. Lysa is always full of high spirits. I'm glad of it, mostly, because it shows that the war has not beaten her down."
She smiled, smoothed her hair and stepped closer.
"I would not mind getting married today if it's what you wish, it's only that it will be hard to do justice to the honour of the occasion. We cannot afford a feast and our only fine gowns are unfashionable castoffs. I would not wish to shame you. So, if you want a proper celebration it will have to wait a while. If not, well, it doesn't matter too much and we can please ourselves." She smiled again.
Leona spoke up from the corner. "Can't you take us to Kings Landing, my lord? Why can't Arwyn be married in the capital? Then I could look for a husband too."

OOC = everyone at Sun House should feel free to do as they wish, including continuing RP here if desired, but I am moving slightly ahead with Rhaella
Lord Velaryon's body was given to Amethyst's flames the morning after his death, with Rhaella standing her nightly vigil as she had promised. She then slept a few hours afterwards, and, since no more had been heard from the Arbor, she ordered two thirds of the remaining Redwyne fleet to make for Oldtown, while the damaged ships remained so they could be repaired, under guard of the remaining third.
Then Rhaella said her farewells to Aerion, Orys and Baelon. Leaving her bastard brother in command of Sun House, their fellow dragon riders and the remnants of the fleet, she announced her intention of following Arenya to Oldtown. She was sure the battle must be over now and she was determined to learn what happened. So she flew off on Amethyst hoping that the battle of Oldtown had been more successful than her own.

"That's not a bad idea," Baelon replied, thinking about the logistics of it, "I wouldn't mind a small ceremony and celebration, but folk will expect something grander. A wedding at the Red Keep would certainly qualify. It will have to wait, a few months at least."

A wedding at the Red Keep would certainly qualify. It will have to wait, a few months at least." "That seems a long time," Arwyn mused. "But it would be more fitting, I know. And I do want to see the capital. Perhaps, when we find out that the war is over, we could send word to the capital telling them to expect us. I suppose I could find the money to rent rooms in an inn, unless there is room for us at the Red Keep? Is it very big?" Behind her, Leona burst into a fit of the giggles.

Baelon started laughing as well, and shaking his head. "Yes, there would be plenty of space at the Keep for us. Separate rooms for everyone, even. Or we could find a manse in the city. But at any rate, there's no need to resort to finding an inn to board in."

"Oh." Arwyn looked greatly relieved though vaguely embarrassed as she belatedly realised her error. "I wish we need not wait, of course, but it will be nice to have a celebration and it will be good for the girls, too. And I do want to see the city."

"It's a plan, then. And for the time being, it's not so great an imposition for me to stay here in Sun House, is it? I don't need anything too fancy in the way of accommodation."

"Of course. We're not so shabby we can't offer my betrothed a chamber of his own. You shall have the best room that is currently unoccupied. I could do no less."
She smiled and brushed a strand of hair away from his face.
"I hope you will enjoy your time with us, Baelon. I am sorry that you cannot rush off to Kings Landing but we'll do all we can to make you, and Seaskimmer, comfortable."

"I'm sure we will be." He answered, before leaning close and whispering, so Leona could not hear. "But I thought that perhaps I might share your chambers, while I'm here."

Arwyn blushed but her small giggle indicated that she was not averse to the idea. "My lord!" She protested, though not strongly. "That is very wicked of you. Shouldn't we be married first? I hear the most wicked stories of ladies who surrender their virtue before marriage. Perhaps you would change your mind, after, and I would be quite undone!"
