Sun House is a castle on the southernmost coast of Westeros, west of Dorne and east of Oldtown. Sun House is the seat of House Cuy.

Queen Rhaella and her companions escort Lord Velaryon and his ships along the eastern coast, along the Stormlands and rounding the Broken Arm of Dorne before sailing west along the Dornish coast until they reached Sun House, the seat of House Cuy. There the ships could let down anchor while Rhaella and her companions waited for Baelon to arrive for their pre-war conference.

Seaskimmer swooped in from the north, Baelon on his back. They circled, ensuring that there would be a welcome reception, before landing in the courtyard.
Baelon hopped off, and ordered a servant to take him to the queen.

The courtyard was dominated by Amethyst, the dragon's purple scales gleaming. The beast snorted a welcome, recognising her mistress' brother, before closing her eyes again.
Rhaella was seated in the high seat of the Cuys with a glass of wine in hand. She waved Baelon over to her.
"Dear brother. Come join me. There's food, plain but hearty, and Lady Cuy dug up a nice vintage from her cellars. I trust you had a pleasant flight?"

Baelon gave a short bow, before approaching and sitting across from the Queen. "I did, Rhaella. Had to detour a bit around Oldtown, but not too far." He poured himself a glass and downed half of it before continuing, "I trust I've not kept you waiting too long?"

"Not at all. We only arrived today. The journey was slow, with the fleet to guard, and we've the precious cargo aboard one of the vessels. That had to be watched too." She cut a slice of pork from the joint on the table. "How did you fare with the Ironborn? Is Greyjoy loyal? Will he fight for us?"

Baelon nodded, clearly proud of himself. "The Iron Fleet sails south. And for the low price of marrying one of his daughters to our favorite deranged cousin."

Rhaella spat out a mouthful of wine and laughed so hard she choked a little. It took a moment to calm herself but her eyes danced as she looked at Baelon. "Aerion? Was that wise, brother? We had better hope he knows how to win a maiden's heart. If the girl is a maiden, I mean."
She looked around the hall, not seeing Aerion.
"I shall be curious to see our cousin's reaction to this news. Is Greyjoy coming himself?"

Baelon laughed as well when he saw his sister spit out her wine. "He is. And I rather doubt he much cares as to his maiden daughter's heart. I told him his options, and he went right for the one with the biggest dragon. Like he'll be able to control the thing just because his little girl's getting fucked by Aerion."

"Fool! He has no idea regarding dragons, it seems. Well let him think that. So much the better if we need to burn his ships one day." She buttered a slice of bread to eat with her pork. "We must be thankful Greyjoy does not know much about dragons. I am hoping Arenya, Aerion and young Orys join us presently to confer on matters pertaining to the war. We will need to be certain of our strategy."

"Indeed. I should like to see Arenya, our meeting on Visenya's Hill was far too brief. Although, before they arrive, there was a matter I wanted to speak with you about, sister." Baelon sipped at his wine, watching her.

"Oh?" She finished buttering the bread but looked up at him before she attempted to eat. "Speak, then. You may be honest with me, Baelon. You know that I prefer frankness from my siblings."

"Well, it is about time I thought about taking a wife. And before you say anything, I know that nothing will come of my dalliances with Arenya. A bastard Targaryen is not good enough for a trueborn Targaryen - but surely I'm worthy of a noble girl of another house. Especially with the approval of the Crown."

She sipped her wine as he spoke and nodded afterewards.
"You are right. Valarr has a wife, so why shouldn't you? Truth be told, I wish you could marry Arenya. I'd give my leave, if it means anything to you, but I don't believe Maegor - or Mother - would countenance the match" She made an open sandwich out of her bread and pork. "Do you have anyone in mind yet, or are you just asking to be considered the next time an heiress is brought to the crown's attention?"

"No one in mind yet. I would not be opposed to having a while yet to be a free man, but occasionally when I sober up I find myself thinking about the future. And there's some girls who wouldn't mind be being rather free on the side, as well." He answered with a smirk.

Rhaella laughed. "Ah, sometimes I envy you that freedom. I cannot entirely blame you for waiting to wait. Nobody would expect you to be faithful to your bride. It is not our way, after all. But I will be happy to recommend you for marriage to an heiress when the time comes."

"I do appreciate it, sister. Until that time, here's hoping Lord Cuy has a pretty daughter, or at least some pretty servants, to tide me over before the flight back." Baelon answered with a smirk, holding his glass out to clink.

At that exact moment Lord Aerion Strongdragon burst into the courtyard fully armored and ready for battle, "It's past time you arrived Waters, Redwyne likely would have died of old age by the time we arrive. Maybe they should call you Slowdragon!" He smiled to himself at the joke it had taken him three days to think of.

Baelon turned to Aerion, smiling. "Cousin, I do apologize. Had to sort your pending nuptials. Congratulations, by the way."

Rhaella clinked glasses with her brother. "Ah, ~Baelon, the late Lord Cuy had only daughters. Sun House is ruled by Lady Cuy, a fair maid. Though not half as fair as a Targaryen, of course. Perhaps that particular sunflower is ripe for the pickings."
She looked over at Aerion. "Yes, cousin, we shall drink to honour your bertrothal."

"Lord Greyjoy agreed to our terms. In exchange for his support, you will marry one of his daughters." Baelon told Aerion.

"You haven't even met the girl yet. Come to think of it, neither did I. I'm sure she's quite lovely, most of the stories about Ironborn girls aren't true." Baelon could not help but grin.

"I am a dragon!" Aerion roared. "I shall not corrupt myself by lying with one of the Kraken's whores. You cannot make me!"
