The compliment made him smile. "I am sure he will do. As do I. You flatter me, my lady. Though you are beauty yourself. The blood of Valyria has always seemed wondrously beautiful to me," he confided. "But your lives are dangerous, as you say. Do you ever wish to be from a plain Andal or First Man house?" "I have not thought of it, actually. I have Andal blood in me as well as Valyrian - that matter hardly ever keeps me up at nights," said Dany, and smiled at the man's kind words, even though she had not been fishing for compliments. "Oh, of course. Your mother is kin to my own liege lord, is that not so? But you are still blood of the dragon. And we lesser mortals are led to believe that is a very special thing," he teased. "Can you blame me for being curious?"

"From my experience, she is rarely wrong." Trajan allowed, his willingness to act if the order came hardly a secret.
"I would have been intrigued." Trajan replied. "Grandmother is always speaking of the power in blood. I had thought perhaps she shared more detail on the matter with you than the rest of us."
"Why would she do that?" Rhaena asked, narrowing her eyes in earnest this time, the conversation beginning to make her feel more than uncomfortable now, as it was becoming more and more evident that Trajan knew, and if he knew, she didn't want to think who else might know.

"A bold claim, sir! But surely you are not merely charmers. I hear you are also artful warriors and storytellers!" She was flattering them a fair bit, but in the hope that it would lead to entertainment, as she was afraid that, if left to entertain Tybalt herself, she would eventually make a fool of herself. She winked to Tybalt, trying to convey that she thought him the proof that the Tyroshi were not the most charming people in the land. Tybalt returned the playful wink, though seemed content to watch the young woman converse with the foreign sellswords. Perhaps that was his own amusement. Jan 4, 2014 1:46:14 GMT Queen Rhaella Targaryen said: "We are all of those things. Every man in this party is a skilled warrior and many are storytellers too." It was, however, obvious that their strength as storytellers lay chiefly in their ability to exaggerate everything by their flashy claims. "What is it you wish of us?" Elseyris smiled sweetly, plucking a goblet of wine from the offering hands of a passing servant; "I wish to toast your good fortunes, for a start." She raised the goblet, for him, his compatriots, and Tybalt to meet. ///////////// After some time of animated talking, storytelling, boasting and bantering, along with a few rather bawdy jokes from the Tyroshi, Elseyris began to feel a little light-headed. She had never drank as much as this before, and although she was impressed at how well she was doing, she got the feeling she was now going a bit too far. She gently grasped Tybalt's arm, to draw his attention from the lively discussion he was having with one of the sellswords; "My dear Lord Toyne, I fear I am somewhat fatigued now. I have enjoyed spending time with you very much, but I shall take my leave for now. I hope we shall see more of eachother at court." She leaned in and left a small, chaste kiss upon his cheek, giving rise to a lascivious chortle from some of the Tyroshi, but she merely politely nodded to them before turning and heading out into the corridor, and gingerly making her way to her room, her head beginning to swim a little.

"You look as if you've seen a ghost Rhaena."

"I was not aware the kings regard for me was an inherited trait," she dodged as well, paranoia about discovery still assuming he knew despite the convincing ignorance, but she smiled at her brother regardless, " you're so pale perhaps I mistook you for one, you should request some courier tasks during the day, too long in the dark, " she teased, poking the hand his hand.

"Father and Grandmother share similar views on what a Targaryen is supposed to be." Trajan reminded her. "You set the ideal for the rest of us."
"You would not be the first to make that comparison, though in truth I do my best work in the light of the moon." he said, running the thumb of his black gloves over the top of her knuckles. "Leave your window unlocked this evening and perhaps you will come to agree."

She is not sure she would agree with them on being an ideal for the rest of them, but it was high praise indeed if you happened to hold any stock by the opinions of the king and his mother, and she did, so she couldn't help but feel the compliment keenly.
She thought of Maekar for a moment, sitting in a dirty camp somewhere in the reach, not an odd person to think of considering the proposal just then, "perhaps I shall, it is a warm night after all,"

"Summer nights are made for such dalliance." he remarked. "I must take my leave now sister. We all serve at the leisure of the Crown."
He hesitated for a moment before leaving.
"A kiss may bring luck for the task at hand." he added, after some consideration. "I am not one to place much weight in fates, but as my mount Zyraxes is named for the god of love and family, a sister's kiss would perhaps be a worthy portent."

"I have every faith that you do not need such lucky to help you with your task," she replied but ran her hand up his arm to his neck, "but as I seem to be the perfect candidate to win you zyraxes blessing, then who am I to deny you your peace of mind?" With that she reached up whilst pulling his face to hers stopping just short and leaning the rest of the way to give him an unusually chaste peck. "Until tonight, brother." She untangled herself from him and walked to a different section of the food.

"Rest assured, Master Plutoris, I place a great deal of importance in properly repaying my debts. As does my father the King." Aegon was not exactly sure of that -- his father might just as well strangle the banker if he thought he could get away with it without consequence. "In the meantime, if there is anything in the city you lack or would like to see, please let me know." "Had I trusted every man that said the same, I would be a beggar." Pultoris replied, though offered the same formal bow as before. "I thank you for your interest, but with my duty done I will depart in the morning."

We have dragons," she said simply, smiling. "Surely you know what happens to anyone that tries to befriend one without being a Targaryen, at least partly."

I even heard that even a Targaryen cannot be certain of a bond. The Prince of Dragonstone's efforts are particularly well known here at court. For myself, I am not such a fool to try. I would rather watch the dragons fly overhead and know myself safe and protected by their fire than seek to ride one for myself. Perhaps that is dull of me, but I take my solace in gold and silver, not in flight. Though no doubt many other men would take the risk just for the hope of saying they once rode a dragon, is that not so?"

"Ah, yes, the prince. A pity," said Dany regretfully. Blood of the dragon ran weak in this one. "Although I heard the he has one now that lets him fly it? No one would blame you, Lord Addam. Some might say you'd have to be half mad to try to tame a beast like that," she winked at him and it was obvious what she was referring to.

"Ah yes." He smiled slightly. "I would rather keep my sanity, I confess. My daughter is mad for dragons but she knows full well that her chances of ever being able to ride one are very small. The dragon does not care for such as myself."

"I am afraid so, Lord Reyne," said Dany with a smile and looked him in the eye. "But surely there are other things in life that make up for it." As a dragonrider, she knew it to be untrue, but it was most likely that the Master of Coin did not know any better.

"Oh yes." HE smiled. "My daughter is young and foolish. She'll grow out of her dreams. One day. But tell me, is it true you have a ship of your own too?"

Daenerys and picked up another goblet of wine just to have something in her hand. "As a matter of fact, I do! I received it as a gift from my father, for my last nameday. I am surprised everyone here seems to know so much about me." She smiled sweetly. "Do you, by any chance, enjoy sailing, Lord Reyne?"

Somewhat interested in the envoys from the Free Cities, Waxley arrived to the party that he had been informed about. He was sure he had some of his colleagues already in attendance, but his own appearance would legitimize the Alchemists presence here. He wore a somewhat well done red cloak with a hood that was put down. Waxley nervously looked around at the varoius Targaryens and others of important station that had attended the party. He quickly moved to a pillar with a statue on it, to investigate what it looked like, this was all a cover for his nervousness however but at least it looked like he was doing something for the moment. He scanned around the room again while tapping his mouth with a finger and noticed the Braavosi envoy engaged with the Prince. He found a table with food on it that was closer to the pair of men and decided to plot a route from the table, then to the two men so it looked like he was just casually moving around the room. He tucked his hands in his sleeves and nodded at the statue before moving to the table of food, to begin appraising it of its contents. 'Wonderful' he thought in his mind, then he stole a glance to he men again then nervously thought about making his approach. He took a hand out of his sleeve and rubbed his head, he felt like he was sweating already. He put his hand back in his sleeve then approached the two men. He begin to speak in Braavosi to the man, a common greeting; (In Braavosi) "Good Day Master Plutoris". He turned his head and greeted the prince in the common tongue, "Good Day to you Prince Aegon".

"I don't sail very often, but I've enjoyed it when I do," he admitted. "I was allowed to sail from Lannisport when I was a boy. It was your own father who mentioned the gift. A most generous gesture. You are blessed indeed."
