Daenya grinned. "I like it. Now I just need to find some dye." She looked Adara up and down with a smirk. Not only had Daenya's mood and tone of voice changed, but she also stood different, looking more aggressively feminine.
"You must tell me where you got that dress by the way. I need some like it... especially ones that make my breasts look bigger."

"My brother? With this war? And all these easterners coming to collect what they are due? The only thing can do is to raise the taxes, and that's not much of a help." He chuckled sadly. "This war needs to end... Any word from Maekar in the South?" "There have been no ravens lately, so I imagine not. I have seen no riders. You are right, the war needs to end. I miss Oldtown. The sun, the Honeywine river, the companionship of my fellows. I have not seen many of them since this war began." The old man sighed with regret. "Perhaps you are right, my lord. Yet I cannot help but wish there were more funds to take care of the unfortunate. Many women have been left without a father or husband to provide for them." "And..." He paused with a knot in his throat. "Anything from Sharp Point? Any word from Miana and Valarr?"

She forgot to mention that the seamstress catered mostly to high class whores. "Her rates are quite cheap." "And..." He paused with a knot in his throat. "Anything from Sharp Point? Any word from Miana and Valarr?" "None. Have you written lately? I have seen no ravens lately that would be of interest, my lord. Perhaps you might seek a leave of absence from your duties and go to visit your family? The king will surely not deny you that."

Daenerys sighed, although it was clear she was just joking. "I'll see what I can do," she told Edric with slight grin before offering Baelor her arm and leading them to the musicians. "How very noble of you to ask my father instead of me. Is that how it used to work here? I have almost forgot; the men at Braavos hardly ever bother with courtesies, they just pull you to the dance floor," she said, smirking. Letting her lead and moving slowly through the rudimentary steps he was forced to learn when he was younger, Baelor cast a brief glance back at Edric. "Well, I respect your father, so it was the least that I could do. Furthermore, the two of you looked like you were having a bit of... trouble with Adara." That particular cousin was notorious for being almost stupidly promiscuous, something that Baelor was as well... but at least he was discreet about it more often than not. "Nevertheless, thank you for accepting my invitation, Dany." "Nothing to thank me for," replied Dany as they began the dance, sliding across the dance floor rather effortlessly, but still allowing Baelor to keep up. "Is that.. Dondarrion lady always like that? She seemed rather inebriated, perhaps this was the cause back there," she mused. She hardly ever disliked people, but from what she had just witnessed, Adara was not off to a very good start.

Louder music, more wine, more handsome men. In Blackhaven we used to have a party most every week. All of us together, dancing and drinking and laughing. Kissing too. And other things."

I can't, the people need me..." That was the very reason Lyara had left, he gave too much of himself to his job. But this was not the actual reason for him not to go... He feared her disaproval, he feared his children's disaproval, he wouldn't stand that look on her face again. "I... I just can't..."

She winked at Adara. "Though I am not dressed for it. Too... elegant and pretty."

Baelor didn't try anything fancy as far as footwork, instead preferring to keep in time with her and hold to the rhythm. He was grateful that she was at least letting him keep up. "Yes, I'm afraid," Baelor said with a sigh, "She's earned quite the reputation for her drunkenness and promiscuity, and I daresay that it is rather well deserved."

The young Lord Tybalt Toyne entered the party, late as was his custom. It was said that penchant for tardiness had saved his life three years ago, as he missed the feast in which Aenar's rebels slew his father, leaving him lord of Darkheart Keep at a young age of 15. Known for his quick wit and easy smile, he was popular at court.

The king will surely not deny you that." "The king will find someone else to command in your absence. Why else could you not go?" The Grand Maester looked upon him with as much sympathy he could muster, for a man who had no wife and no children. "I know His Grace will not wish you to be unhappy." "It is boring, isn't it? Not enough men." Adara sighed. The servant, knowing that touching Daenya was more than his life was worth, quickly retreated. "I've been to much better parties than this. Adara, whose lack of inhibitions had made her a firm favourite with a certain kind of man, received more open admiration. She looked at Daenya thoughtfully. "If you wore a dress like mine your mother would have you whipped. And if she wouldn't, your grandmother would! Aunt Laena beat me once for wearing a dress that was cut too low. It was not as low as this, but lower than yours."

"Mother can go fuck herself," Daenysa said with a dismissive wave of her hand. "Ugh, I suppose you could tight the strings for me at the back." She sipped her wine and turned her back to Adara. "So, who takes your fancy the most?"

"And what of her other qualities, are there any that are worth mentioning, perhaps?" Daenerys asked. "Or does no one ever notice anything beyond her dallying and love for wine? She is not interested in ships, I know as much," she finished rather regretfully and decided to change the subject. "What about you, my lord? Any interesting pastimes?"

"I suppose that 'war' could be considered an interesting pastime," Baelor muses. "But It's one I'd rather never be involved with again. I do have a love for archery, however, and Vriskaranea does need her exercise every now and then." He didn't want to bring up the fact that he shared similar vices with Adara, to be honest. It would just wind up ending badly.

"So, who takes your fancy the most?" "Oh. Um..." Adara looked all around. Quite a lot of men had taken her fancy but she hadn't decided which one to take to bed yet. Maybe she'd even take two. "I quite like the Ambassador. He's old, I know, but I've never had a Tyroshi. Or...!" She started to tighten Daenya's bodice. "There was a young knight of the Riverlands I saw earlier. Black something. Or...mayhaps the Master of Coin."

Daenya smirked and pushed her chest out, sucking in her tummy to help with the cinching. "I'll pick......" She looked around again, sizing the men up and trying to spot the most handsome Tyroshi in the room, barring Valio.

"Ah, war. Where were you stationed?" asked Dany with the curiosity of a person who had clearly never seen war. As she twirled, she caught a glimpse of the crown prince, dancing with one of their cousins, presumably, and was reminded of her talk with her mother. "Speaking of which, I ought to thank Prince Aegon for breaking the siege at Casterly Rock. They are my cousins too, you see. Were you by any chance also involved?" she looked at him expectantly.

"My cousin Aemy and I burned the siege engines to the ground, and I'm pretty sure that it was Vriskaranea that killed the False Lion's heir. I was also involved with the retaking of Lannisport."

The Grand Maester looked upon him with as much sympathy he could muster, for a man who had no wife and no children. "I know His Grace will not wish you to be unhappy." "Maybe... Maybe I could go..." But would he endure if she'd found someone new? If she had got his children another men for them to call Papa? He took a deep breath, they were his children he had the right to do so. "I'm going..." He said, though caught by surprise that those words came out of his mouth. A smile widened. "I'm going to visit my children!" "Thank you, Maester!" He pulled his the Maester's head close and kissed his shiny bald head.

I heard their living conditions were not too good by the end of it. What about now that it is done, are you expected to return to the front or are they letting you bask in glory for a while?"

"It all depends on what King Maegor decides," Baelor says simply, offering only a slight shrug. "If I am to bask, then I will put a little more time into some research that I've been doing as of late."

That seemed to interest Dany a lot more than the subject of war. "Research? Oh, do tell!"

He had never been kissed by a man before, and not by anyone on his bald head. "May the Father above grant you a happy reunion with your family and the Mother keep your wife and children safe," he said. "I wish you joy of your visit if the king consents." Daenya smirked and pushed her chest out, sucking in her tummy to help with the cinching. "I'll pick......" He had a curled moustache and sky blue hair. In her right mind he might have looked ridiculous but now with his tight fitting shirt and breeches he seemed the most handsome man in the world.

"I've been attempting to gather quite a bit of material on ancient Valyria. I have a feeling that there is an item that can help us win the war, there," Baelor says, the thought of holding Dragonbinder filling his eyes with an almost mad gleam

"Him," Daenya said, nodding towards the man and trying to make eye contact with him. "How do I look?" She turned to Adara and struck a pose, pouting a little.
