The official game start is still planned for 1st January.
In the meantime, as many players are ready and eager to begin, we will be doing some RP based around the coronation of Maegor II in 77AL (3 Years Prior to the Main Game). This won't alter the events that followed but it will be a chance for players to get to know one another and hopefully think of something their character might have done in the events leading up to Aenar's Folly.
Prince Aenar, eldest son of Jahaerys and arguably the rightful heir to the Iron Throne is alive and well at this point.
We will not be doing skill rolls at this time.

An update on the official game start.
The official start will be 1st January at 6pm GMT (10am PST). We will aim to get our remaining background stuff written up by then. Additionally, this will be the cut off point for any changes to skills.
Pre-RP will be allowed to continue until it runs its natural course.

Also, I should make it clear that I won't be around for start tomorrow because I'll be hungover and attending a wedding of a friend that I've known for 15 years at roundabout noon. Depending on how awesome the reception is, I'll probably be back four hours later.

Hey guys As you may have noticed, we said we'd be starting now. Unfortunately Zack may not be around as much as he hoped today so I'm going to get things started as otherwise those of us in Europe will have probably gone to bed by the time he's available. In the meantime, I will be here with my NPCs. I'll make a general feast thread in honour of the Tyroshi ambassador so I hope it will go along similar lines to the coronation thread with lots of people talking to each other.  In addition to this, I would like to have some of my NPCs interact with people closely linked to them to get a better feel for their relationships so hopefully I can get Rhaella and Jeyne interacting with their kids. Those of you hoping to undertake missions outside of Westeros would be wise to seek the king's permission, when Zack is around to do that. But it might be a good idea to visit the Grand Maester if you are looking for information. |

In addition to the above, please be aware that as I have quite a few tags and Zack can't be here to help out just yet, I am not going to randomly tag people who are just standing in the feat talking to nobody. If you want to rp at the feast, please take a look at my NPC list and approach a specific person. It will be much easier than me trying to guess who people want to rp with. |

Hey everyone
Thanks for being so active on the 1st day and being patient with me when I had a lot of tags. I hoping that tomorrow I will have the chance to finish updating the information areas as needed and also to RP with some of the people I haven't RPed with much or at all, as well as continuing with anything ongoing.
If anyone needs me specifically for something new and wants to initiate a conversation for when I get online, by all means start the thread/conversation and pm me the link to the right page so I can easily find it.
