He is allowed in immediately to the Solar where the Queen was waiting, having changed into a elegant dress that complemented her still enviably trim figure.
"Lord Dondarion, I wanted to ask on the state of the border away from all the ears of court." she said, fingers drumming on the documents, in a hard leather case embossed with her personal seal.

"It is precarious, your grace," Lord Orys said, taking a seat and eyeing the Queen appreciatively. "The Stone Hawk has emboldened them, and I admit that the man seems able to spring an ambush even within my own land, inside the range of my patrols," he said with a frown. "Their tactics grow more cowardly by the year, and dozens of my men have died slowly to their poisoned arrows."

"Have you brought any of these arrows with you? It could be a project at the Academy to find an antidote that can be distributed to your men," She replied, sitting on the edge of her obsessively tidy desk, "Other than the Stone Hawk, what of the other Dornish Lords? We may have a storm coming our way, if we can hold off on dealing with Dorne until that is over, it would be for the benefit of us all."

"The Lords of Blackmont and Starfall have had much success rousing their neighbors to arms against us, or so my sources across the mountains report. I am sure they receive support from Sunspear, either in gold or in men, though I have not seen any of Sarella's troops directly engaged in conflict. Her son is rumored to had a hand in the raid on Yronwood last month, through they did little damage to the castle itself."
"Your grace speaks of the Burned Rider, then? He is not often spoken of in the Stormlands, and many think he is merely a myth, invented by the cowards of the Free Cities," he added in a tone that indicated he thought such people were fools.

"It looks as though Dorne does not wish to play nicely, and I will not be bullied, until I give further notice and depending on whether you are living," she tapped the documents, "I give you leave to use whatever force necessary to deal with the threat. Those bastards have been dodging for too long, harbouring traitors."

"That will greatly aid our efforts in the Marches, your grace. You have my thanks, once again. I had known the Queen of Westeros was beautiful, but I had not known she was a wise general as well," he replied with a gallant smile. "Perhaps the war would end sooner, if your grace honored us with her own presence on the battlefield"

"I think that is an excellent idea," Rhaena replied, looking at him evenly, she hated when "Come back to King's Landing with a dragon, and we can fly there together, I have not battled on Tyraxes for some time, he is bored of burning trespassers. The small council will manage for some time without me, I am sure,"

The Lord of Nightsong smiled, meeting her gaze steadily. "I should be honored to host your grace in my castle of Nightsong, and when I have bonded a dragon of my own all the might of Dorne will not stand against us," he said. "Although I do hope that the capital will not be completely lost without your grace's leadership," he added with a wink.

"The city is stable enough me leaving it for sometime will not tear it asunder," She said confidently, "And besides, I would be leaving to help my most noble cousin fight villainous curs," she said the last part in the tone a street anouncer might proclaim it, if a lot more quietly, "The people will love it, and the small council will manage."
She crossed her legs and sat on the table properly, leaning back slightly, "When is it that you were planning on setting sail?"

"Within the next few days; the sooner the better, your grace. It was a long ride here from Nightsong, however, and I cannot deny that it will be nice to sleep in a true bed again after my weeks on the road," Orys replied, his eyes dropping to the Queen's legs as she repositioned, before meeting her gaze again.

"I know of a bed close by, if you are really that exhausted," She commented, smirking and moving her foot to rest on his thigh.

"Well I have ridden quite far, but that has never made me too tired for another ride," he countered, placing his hand on her calf and slowly sliding it up the length of her leg. "And, of course, I live to obey her grace's commands," the young Lord added, his eyes not leaving the Queen's.

"Would that all lords were as dutiful as you," She said, tone emotionless but her eyes sparked and she moved forward off the table to straddle him on the chair, softly running a hand through his hair before tipping it back hard and kissing him.

"Would that all lords were as dutiful as you," She said, tone emotionless but her eyes sparked and she moved forward off the table to straddle him on the chair, softly running a hand through his hair before tipping it back hard and kissing him. Lord Orys met the Queen's kiss passionately, sliding his hands up her legs and around her backside as she climbed on top of him, and hiking up her dress. She could feel him stirring beneath her, and when she pushed him backwarss the whole chair sent toppling to the floor. Orys laughed as they fell wrapping his arms around Rhaena to ensure that she landed on top of him and not on the floor itself. He kissed her again and brought one hand up to her breast, the soft fabric of her gown providing almost no barrier at all.
