A great structure, inspired by the former castle there located. It looks just like the Hightower, but instead of a beacon it has a roost for medium sized dragons.

Valarr sat at the breakfast table, his wife and son were there already, but he was used to only start eating after the whole family was at the table. He waited his sister drinking a cup of milk, often driving his gaze around to take a look at the servant girls.

Aelys strode in, nodding to her brother and his family silently, and sitting down on the other side of Valarr from his wife.
"My apologies for my lateness, brother."

"Never worry, my dear sister." He smiled and gave her a light kiss on the cheek. "How was your night?"

She returned his smile;
"Fine, thank you. And yours?"

"Perfect, as always!" Valarr drove an arm around his wive's shoulder. "Emma gave me a good tumble..."
And those two servant girls in the pantry, seven hells, it's good to be a Lord. He thought.
"Everthing ready for the travel, sister? We leave before noon."

"How fortunate you are to have such a healthy marriage," Aelys replied, though she knew all too well of her brother's proclivities.
"I am ready, yes. An advantage of not having to give anyone a tumble is that I was prepared for the journey last night."

Valarr laughed.
"That will change soon though..." He winked at her, not knowing how well that would be taken by his sister. Of course, that was not the best opportunity to gieve such news, but it would have to happen sooner or later. "In fact, that is part of the reason we are going to the Capital. I'm expecting to find you a good suitor there."

Aelys stiffened in her seat, and only just managed to stop herself from glaring. She eventually spoke with as much poise as she could muster;
"I had hoped you would not sell me off to some lowlife from the court, Valarr. I had intended to travel, if our petition is successful. I cannot very well do that if I'm being a complacent little bedwarmer for some nobody."
She picked at her food.

"Calm down, Aelie." Valarr tried to keep his temper, nothing good could come from raging against your own kin. "I promise you, sister, I'd never sell you as a bedwarmer. It grieves me too, but it's something that has to be done."
"And not all early bethrotals are bad... See us!" Although he may often have had some affairs, his love for Emma was dear, there was no denying of that. " Tell me at least you'll meet some pretenders, I'll let you pick the one you prefer."

Aelys looked sullenly at Valarr for a few moments, then sighed heavily.
"Very well, I will meet them, but I probably won't like any of them."
She forced a dry smile.
"I know you just want what is best. I will try."

"Thank you..." Valarr returned the dry smile.
"Things are bound to get better, little sis... Just think that, maybe, we'll come back to Oldtown on dragon back! Isn't that worthy getting a little husband?"

"That would be nice," Aelys smirked. "Though I doubt taming a dragon and finding a worthy husband involve the same skills."

"You are incorrigible," Aelys snorted in amusement and mock dismay. "If any of those soft-handed, soft-headed courtiers think I will be tamed easily, they are in for a shock."

"Just don't kill them..." Valarr knew his sister and her unbreakable will. "Nor humiliate them publicly, I can take care of that in the next tourney."

"Spoilsport," she smirked jestingly.

"Or maybe you will... I see you're doing great with your blades, in the next event I'll make sure they let you compete." Valarr offered. "If you wish, of course."

"You read my mind, Valarr!" Aelys exclaimed, suddenly perking up. "You would do me a great honour to get me into the next tourney!"

"I can't confirm nothing, but I'll try. I promise." He smiled kindly.

"Alright," she nodded, calming herself, but her eyes still alight at the prospect.
"And I will try to be gentle with any suitors you show me. I would not wish to shame you."

Valarr grinned and winked at her. They returned to their breakfast, often engaging in a small talk or another.
