"Mine too. We should look after one another, all of us," Iro suggested. "It is either that or we submit to New Valyria. I should not mind that, if myself and my family were permitted to keep our wealth and status. But will the Magisters care for it? I think not. They would surely lose their rank."
She pause for a moment.
"Insuring your ships will only waste money, these days."

"That is not for us to decide," Iro remarked. "I heard that the Summit had already begun but I don't know if Westeros or Tyrosh sent anyone. There's merchants here, always, but noblemen and the like, I couldn't tell you."

"I can do that, as long as I have free reign over the funds," Iro remarked. "You cannot afford to be haggling over the price at present. The captain will have to be sure you have the funds for him. The situation is not so bad there are no ships to Volantis at all."
