Valarr Targaryen and his blue cobalt dragon Vriskaranea approached Dragonstone. Slowly the she-dragon began her descent towards the Citadel circling slowly to show that both the dragon and its rider came in peace.

After a short while, he sees the gleam of golden scales as another dragon approaches, The rider is a little older than him, with dark hair.
"Hail!" The rider cries, not recognising him. "Who are you?"

"Valarr Targaryen. Sworn to King Aegon." the young Targaryen proudly called back. "I've been to the Dragonmont with King Aegons' permission. You can see I have returned successfully."

"Aye, I can see that. Edmund Waters, also sworn to King Aegon and Queen Rhaena. A fine creature," Edmund called back. "What will you do now? Could use another dragon in the air, t'others are busy about the castle."

Valarr thought for a moment. He was sure Aegon would approve if he helped Edmund. After all he was to be Aegon's squire and if he could warn Aegon of any impending attack it would go even better with him. Plus he was enjoying the exhilaration of flying.
"Where are we patrolling?" he called.

"Around the island. watching for enemy dragon riders and ships," Edmund replied. "Someone has to patrol at all times. Suits me well enough, I'm not made for a royal court. I'd rather be in the air, or in the tavern." He grinned.

Valarr grinned back.
"Perhaps I should report to His Grace first. He may have need of me. I am to be his squire." he said proudly.

"Aye, perhaps he will. I don't know the king's mind. I was never no squire, m'lord," Edmund replied. "I was raised a stableboy. I'm just a bastard who got lucky."

"His Grace has given his word." replied Valarr. "I should report to him.'
Valarr gave the order to Vriskaranea who began to descend slowly. "I will return Edmund Waters." he called as his dragon gradually enlarged the distance between them.
