Appearance: Daenya is a slim girl, with long silver-gold hair and big eyes that resemble blue speckled violet pools. Her facial features are angelic, with high cheekbones and slightly plump cheeks, her nose delicate and her lips plump and pouty. She is among the most beautiful of the Targaryen women, though still at the beginning of maturity, and her body shape reflects her youth. She his short and very slim, her curves barely pronounced, though if she will take after her sister it is likely she will become very curvy in time. From her training in both dancing and swordsmanship she has a somewhat athletic cast to her physique. Although the Queen's squire, she feels more at home in dresses and is mostly seen looking very ladylike and prettied up, favourite whites, silvers and soft pinks and blues.
Personality: Daenya is known to shift in temperament quite severely, something that the Grandmaester diagnosed as being due to her Targaryen heritage. On one side Daenya is a sweet, kind and caring girl who does her duties both as a lady and a squire and who can always be depended on for her good manners. Her other, darker side, reveals itself in coarse language, vain and sultry behaviour and an aggressive, antagonistic and adventurous persona.
Background: Daenya is the youngest child of King Maegor II and Queen Rhaella and as such was always doted on by both of them when they had the time. A sweet girl even as a child, Daenya nevertheless displayed intelligence and charisma, as well as an eagerness to learn. She absorbed all the knowledge that her Septa and Maester had to offer and at an early age she showed herself to be interested in swordsmanship.
It was at age six when her split personality first became evident, an event that resulted in three boys with broken bones and a young princess who was dragged back after escaping into the city. Since then Daenya has often managed to get herself in trouble when her darker side comes out, which most recently involves her being found kissing squires, young noblemen and even the odd servant. When in her normal state of mind however, Daenya makes up for her faults by being a generally good person.
At age eleven, after a brief training from the master of arms, Daenya has become a squire to her mother, the Queen, and takes to her duties with avid enthusiasm. Many compare her to her mother already, as well as drawing comparisons to Visenya herself, though in appearance she would resemble Rhaenys more. When not performing her duties as a squire, or mingling with the court and exchanging gossip, Daenya is found riding her dragon Vandaras, having taken him as far as the Riverlands by herself. It is said that the two are so close that, should Daenya ever marry, her husband might find himself with a dragon jealous of the time he would take up in Daenya's life.
