Storm's End is the seat of House Baratheon along Shipbreaker Bay in the Stormlands. One of the strongest castles in the Seven Kingdoms, it was once the ancestral seat of the Storm Kings of House Durrendon extending back many thousands of years. The castle is said to be protected by spells woven into its very walls that prevent magic from affecting it or passing through it.

The sun hung low in the sky as Aerion Strongdragon descended upon Storm's End. He spied the castles one huge drum tower, thrusting defiantly upwards like a mailed fist. Without ceremony, Servys landed atop Storm's End's bastion, much to the dismay of the guards stationed upon it. Aerion laughed as the soldiers scattered away beneath him. "Sorry about the unexpected arrival boys! Tell your castellan that Lord Aerion Targaryen is here. King's orders." He continued to unchain himself as the sun set over Storm's End.

Ser Henry Baratheon, the Castellan of Casterly Rock, made his way up the ramparts to where Aerion and his dragon waited. He was an old and grizzled man, having fought at the front throughout the Dornish campaign. He favored Aerion with a disgruntled glare, as the man was not an Inquisitor yet and therefore had no authority to insultingly land upon the keep of a Lord Paramount.
"Welcome to Storm's End, Lord Aerion." he said, somewhat gruffly. "I am sure Lord Borros would appreciate it if you used the door on your next visit."

"Oh, I'm certain he would, ser." Aerion agreed before vaulting off the dragons back. "But Lord Borros is not here and I am on urgent business. King's business." He clarified.

"The King is dead." the old knight replied bluntly.

Aerion frowned. "Impossible, I saw him not 3 days past."

Ser Henry snorted impatiently.
"We received the raven this morning." he replied. "Murdered by his own half-sister. Do you think the Gods consider that kinslaying? Or is regicide more damnable in their eyes?"

Aerion grimaced. "Vira? Lowborn bastard." He cursed. "Blood always tells. Tell me how? Maegor always sought protection from the Kingsguard."

"Those were all the details we received." he replied.

"Then you have my gratitude, Ser Henry." He cracked a knuckle. "And I dare not linger. Has the traitor Trajan Waters passed by Storm's End of late? I heard by rumor he may have come in search of Rhaegar Targaryen."

"No, we did not have the displeasure." he replied with a grimace, clearly not a fan of the ex-Inquisitor or his reputation.

Aerion nodded. "We live in perilous times, ser. A time where loyalty need be rewarded. If the bastard is spied near Storm's End, send me word."

"With all due respect, I do not take your orders." Ser Henry replied. "And you lack the authority to give them to me."

The would-be Knights Inquisitor flared his nostrils but wordlessly he mounted Servys and prepared himself for flight before responding, "I give no commands, ser. But assisting a traitor is treason. Assist me where possible or may the Lord of Light judge you justly." Aerion kicked his heels and shouted a word to Servys and the beast threw itself skywards. For a long while the red dragon circled above Storm's End before cutting north.
