When Maekar flies to King's Landing, with Vira and Visenya, a huge chest is strapped to Cyrax's back, file with the gold he was to pay Sergio Delinaal. He sent the two women on ahead to King's Landing, and landed in a small village about five miles west of the city. There, he unloaded the chest from the dragon's saddle, and hired a wagon and it's driver, instructing the man to enter through the King's Gate at high noon. Maekar gave him ample payment, as well as enough money to pay the gate-fee, and marked the wagon with a black circle as Sergio had asked.
As the wagon rumbled toward King's Landing, containing the chest filled with gold, Maekar took to the air aback Cyrax, flying up to a height where he could still distinguish the wagon clearly, but it was not blatantly obvious that he was hovering over it.
