A great palace which serves as the base of the current High Magister of Lys. The current High Magister has been in office for five years. There are quarters here for high ranking guests such as foreign royalty and ambassadors from the Free Cities.

Princess Laena remained with the dragons in their base camp while the rest of the party was escorted to the Chief Magister's Palace. Aegon was in his armor once again, and waited to be announced and greeted by the merchant lords.
Several of the other magisters had sent representatives, of course, so there was a long ceremony in which the magisters were introduced and then the party themselves. It was long and dull and left them all tired by the time the formalities were done. There was, not very surprisingly, to be a feast to celebrate their arrival, but the Chief Magister assured them that it would be the following day, so they would have time to rest. "In the meantime, I hope each of you will feel free to rest and enjoy the palace. Is there anything any of you would wish of us?"

"Nothing at the moment, Magisters," Aegon replied. He was becoming uncomfortable in his armor after such a long ceremony in the heat. "Your hospitality is much appreciated."

Magister Tyreo Ormollen had watched the entire boring ceremony. His eyes had locked onto one of the knights guarding the savage prince. Tyreo did not know what, but something about that man drew him. As soon as the ceremony ended he walked slowly to this Lord Commander Snow, and offered him his pink gloved hand, he pursed his lips and smiled. Giggling he said, "I am Magister Tyreo Ormollen, and I would like to lead you in prayers." He rose on his tip toes so his purple cape rose enough so the man could admire his rounded ass. He knew it was especially rounded today because of the blue heeled boots had just arrived from Braavos.
"Come and rest, then. Servant shall show you to your chambers."
Servants came forward to escort them. Aegon notices at once that many of the women are dressed very provocatively and some begin to fawn over him. One drapes her arm over his shoulder as she leads him forward.

Aegon allows himself to be led to the guest quarters, but once they are there he banishes the Lyseni servants in favor of the Westerosi ones who had arrived by ship.
Brandon shook Tyreo's hand roughily. "Prayers?" He asked, "Prayers to whom?"
Tyreo laughed, and ran a hand up and down Brandon's chest, "So strong." He murmured lowin his native tongue before returning to Westeros. "I would like to lead you in prayer of our Goddess. If you have a moment to come alone with me I can learn you her name." He giggled again. "Has any one ever told you that your eyes are darker then midnight in Winter. I love them. I want to eat them up."
As soon as Tyreo ran his hand up Brandon's chest, Brandon slapped it away, and took several steps back, putting his hand on the hilt of his sword.
"Get your fucking hands off me," Brandon said sternly, his voice a low growl, "or I will cut them off."
Tyreo giggled, but in a way that was slightly unsettling. "My good dark eyed love, that way is not full of the manners most are showing to a Magister of the the Great city of light and love. If you wish to be begging my pardon I can be granting it. But in Lys threats are paid back ten times to the man who made them." He raised a cool eyebrow, and shook his long red hair, that was clearly not the original color.

Brandon's hand remained where it was, but the blade was stayed, "A Knight of Westeros does not suffer to have hands put upon him," Brandon replied, "Let us chalk this up to a misunderstanding of cultures, and I will be on my way."

"A Magister of Lys is not having his hands slapped like a begger, and then threatened in the walls of the Great Magistrate himself." Tyreo shook his head, and made weird hissing noises, "No there will be no chalking. I want a true apology for your discourtesy." The Lysene moved closer, and he seemed not to care that he was unarmed and Snow was ready to kill him. He giggled again, and bounced on his tiptoes in a fit of annoyance.

"I will not." Brandon replied, taking another step back. "You do not seem to be a fighting man ser, but if you want an apology, and have a champion, you can feel free to name the time and the place, and I will meet him on the field of combat. The Gods can decide who was wronged."

Tyreo giggled again, "Is that the way of it. You want to war against me, instead of offering just a simple word of apology." He sniffed, "Your eyes may be beautiful but they hide a spoiled soul. When you are found guilty, I will be expecting your words on yours knees." He smiled at the thought, and barely restrained himself from reaching out to run his fingers through his beard. "Dawn... is when the Goddess is born again, so it is her eyes I want upon my man's blade. Tomorrow... the square of Tamuz."
After the duel, Aegon and Brandon return to their quarters in the Magister's palace. He rounds up whatever servants and guards remain, and tells them they should leave Lys for Westeros on the first ship. He relates a brief oral message to the seniormost among them relating to the progress of their voyage so far, and makes the man repeat it to him twice before he sends him off. "Where is Rhaena?" Aegon asks the room at large.
Aegon gave the servant a look that could wither a fruit on the vine. "Find her," Aegon grated, "And tell her we are leaving the city." He dispatched ten more servants with the same task.

When it was getting very dark, Rhaena finally managed to get back to the palace. She had picked up a lot of disconcerting words on her travel from the back end of nowhere back to a place she found familiar enough to find her way back to the palace. The words she heard made her almost not want to return, not knowing if anyone would be there or if it would be safe, but she had no where better to begin searching.
Some of the searchers returned without news, and others returned bloodied and bruised while some did not return at all. Apparently, angry mobs were marching around the city, burning shops that were rumored to belong to Westerosi, and lynching people who were accused of being from Westeros, whether that was truly their birthplace or not.
Hands of gold are always cold, but a woman's hands are warm
Everything had been long packed and as Rhaena returned she saw rows of Westerosi guards standing on edge, hands not far from their swords. Aegon strode forward from amongst them. "Where have you been?" he asked, his tone equal parts anger and worry. "Nevermind. We are leaving the city, and there's a fair chance there will be trouble on the way out."
"March!" Aegon barked at the Westerosi, who formed a protective square around the royals as they began making their way toward the gate.
