Thanks Ranya!
Quick question guys, Visenya's hill and a Field both have people gathering with dragons - are they both going to the same place? Am slightly confused.

Those at Visenya hill are going to the Arbor with the Valeryon fleet I believe, those meeting at the field are going to Highgarden to meet up with the army and then on to Oldtown.

Also just read the Tybalt Toyne - Elsie RP for the first time and loved it (sorry guys, I'm catching up on everything sloooowly and nagging Bro with questions in chat). April, you really wrote great posts in that scene. Yeah I just read this too, it was pretty cool. I guess that's what happens when you treat a dragon like it's a dog or a horse lol

Maybe we should make Elseyris a Kingsguard instead. Hey, I've already called her for my war-bodyguard. Squeeee! Yay! Brienne-tastic!

Yeah I just read this too, it was pretty cool. I guess that's what happens when you treat a dragon like it's a dog or a horse lol Well yes, that was the idea. I put in her character notes that, having had Nenyan since he was newly hatched, and him being very mellow, she's never had to whip him, and has always treated him more like a pet. Part of her arc is him becoming less calm, and more dangerous, as he gets older, and her learning the hard way that she can't treat him like that anymore.

So the clear King is my army, and the clear knight is Rhaella's fleet, while the clear pawn is Rhaena's army. The opaque King is the enemy forces in Oldtown, and the opaque knight is the Redwyne fleet. Let the war planning begin!

I am finding it very hard to see the map detail or the pieces, I think it's the bright light. Perhaps use coloured things?

Yeah, chess pieces are all I have at the moment. When buy a Risk game, those pieces will be more appropriate. They'll also be smaller, so they'll scale better with the map itself.

You should get the actual GoT board game. The pieces for that are pretty dece.
Edit: Oh and the game's alright too I guess.

Hey guys, for those not in the chatroom right now we are talking about coat of arms and how in the novels there are a lot of individual coat of arms, especially for younger sons of lords, to distinguish them from the lord and heir. For example, Garlan Tyrell has 2 roses, whereas Big Walder and Little Walder quarter the Frey towers with the arms of their maternal houses. In the graphic novel of The Hedge Knight there's lots of examples of personalised coat of arms and Dunk is made to choose a new sigil because he's not Ser Arlan's son. So I think it would be great if we could reflect this in RP. I also think it's something Maegor and Rhaella would endorse for those of Jaehaerys' bloodline. Female members of the house are of course welcome to take their own sigil too. This is no way going to be a situation where you have to do it, but I think it would be a fun touch for anyone interested in exercising their creativity
