Well, if we ever see the Hellholt in the novels it will be 300 years ago. They might be less obsessed with these details than we are Considering the crazy deeds houses in the books obsess over, you don't think killing a damn dragon trumps them all? Perhaps it does but I still don't think we will ever actually see the Hellholt to find that out I'd be pleasantly surprised if we get more details on this in the novels, but I don't expect it.

You never know. Between ASOIAF, Dunk & Egg, and the various prequels I wouldn't rule anything out. I mean, what were the odds of us seeing Griffin's Roost or Ten Towers?

Welcome to the wonderful world of being able to legally kill and bang a prostitute but not drink, gamble, or rent a car.

The drinking and gambling are what Canada is for.

I'm completely gambling tonight. Glories of Oklahoma, Native American casinos have their own minimum age laws. 18.

Has anyone read Raising Steam (Discworld novel that apparently came out in November, I completely missed that) and have an opinion on it? It's a Moist von Lupwig novel so I'm hoping it's better than Making Money and somewhere at the Going Postal level. I'll likely buy it anyway, just wanted to get opinions. So excited. I loved the film of Going Postal. Do let me know if it's good. Moist and Adora are great!

Zack, where can one legally kill a prostitute? I ask based on academic curiosity, of course...

Also, for gambling; it's not that you can't gamble until you're 21, it's just that most casinos don't let people under 21 onto the floor, because they don't feel like carding everyone who orders a drink.

Go to Reno in the middle of numerous conventions, they don't give a shit about anything as long as you are gambling.

This seems to be a yearly occurrence ever summer. Things tend to die off in June and pick up again in August.

Sad but true, though sometimes its worse than others. I am beginning to think we should have held back the reboot until late August as people finish their holidays.

Hahaha I was just about to post that! Great minds!
Let's hope they have a healthier relationship with their mothers...and vacuum cleaners.
Also, I'm a little peeved Lana didn't make the girls list:
"Lana...Lana!...LANA!...LAAAAANA!!!!"

Finally for around to reason "The Rogue Prince." For Marie, I found the following quote amusing:
"According to the precedent set by the Great Council of 101, a male claimant must prevail over a female. In the absence of a trueborn son, the king's brother would come before the king's daughter, as Baelon had come before Rhaenys in 92AC."

The lords are just to too scared to let a woman rule them. But at least the female candidates were acknowledged. Having said that there is just one good thing about GRRM constantly talking about the problems faced by women with a claim to the throne - hopefully it will be harder for Daenerys to take the throne when she eventually makes it to Westeros.

There were a ton of fascinating and useful tidbits in the rogue prince. The conflicting reports about Criston Cole might have been my favorite part, as he's arguably either the best or worst knight to wear the white cloak depending on if you subscribe to Septon Eustace's explanation or Mushroom's.
