That's a good point. Maybe I should have done it that way now I think of it. To me it depends on what you're trying to achieve as to whether I roll targets or oppositions and I figured as you were deceiving her rather than trying to deceive each other that it would be suitable to do it against a target. I've never really had to roll against a disguise in the past and rarely for espionage at all so I had to make a decision. Maybe it wasn't the right one after all. Would it help if I scrapped that and rolled them as oppositions from scratch?

No, that's completely unnecessary! As an admin you made a decision, you rolled it, and the dice fall where they may. I completely respect that. :-)
It's just been a difficulty with the LOW system, is that everything is set up to be based on opposed rolls, and some types of rolls get very confusing, like when there aren't two skills to roll against.
I'm just thinking in general if there's a better way to do it in the future.

Maybe you and Zack could publish a list of degrees of difficulty? Like an Easy task is a target number 70 a hard task is a 140, or whatever? That way PCs could ask in a general sense, how difficult the task is, and have a sense of how difficult it will be to achieve, and whether or not they want to try it? Just a thought. I'll look into it when Zack and I have time to discuss the matter. I actually had a list like that on a game long ago but it fell prey to a Proboards cull so Ill need to give it some thought. Obviously there are still occasions when rolling directly against another person is going to be the better option and in many cases we have to take each case as it comes.

It's not a conscious ability so my plan is actually to use a randomiser to determine whether the relevant characters have a dream at specific interval and, if so, then we'd decide what it was and then pm the player relevant information. My aim was to begin implementing the system this weekend but fate threw a spanner in the works. So hopefully you will bear with me as I'll have to handle it alone for the minute.
