Upon returning to the Red Keep, Princess Rheana goes to the King's Chambers and after pausing for a second outside, she asked to be seen. Not looking forward to the meeting particularly.

"You look well, my daughter." Maegor said as she was ushered inside. "It seems you are in the minority of those that can make that claim."

"Excepting a small wound given by Ser Hector, I remained untouched through the battle." she expanded, looking at her father after she was shown in, trying to gage his expression before going on properly. "Our House has prevailed though, which is all that really matters." She was aware that it was at a great cost.

He seemed to be in his usual countenance, neither wroth nor elated. It was the best mood most could hope to find him in.
"Yes, we have prevailed." he echoed. "We shall see if this peace was worth the effort."

"It was the effort, or we would all be dead for being abominations," Rhaena replied, despite the victory she felt as if she had failed, but she would not waste either of their time with apologies, She thought about suggesting the plan she had with Daenya to him now, when the subject of price came up, but thought it would be unfair to not do it together.
"I imagine you heard, your grace, but the Archmaesters destroyed all of their books on warfare, so the means of making their dragon resistant weaponry have also been lost, so I do not think we need to worry about any other uprising using them, and if they do, at least we will be more prepared for them," She informed him, standing up a bit straighter, "it has at least highlighted a weakness."

Maegor nodded, clearly having heard the news.
"And what of the Starry Sept?" he inquired.

"It is being torn down as we speak, by those on the side of the faith militant who did not die in battle," she said, not mentioning that was because there was no dragon down there who was for that could have destroyed it.
"I am having the stones stored, in case you had a purpose for them."

"I am sure we will find some use for them." he said in a tone that suggested he was pleased by her answer. "What did you learn from your first command?"

"That command is just as easily taken from you as given to you, that routed armies are very difficult to boost the moral of, after they have been ambushed, and that men seem more willing to cut the heads off corpses after you do so," she said in reference to Aegon coming down and taking control, meeting the 2000 men after they had been ambushed by poor fellows on the road, and taking the men into the citadel.
"All in all I have learn you need to be able to adapt."

"Then they were more useful in death than in life." he replied, referencing her lost army. "All useful lessons for a Queen."

"Useful lessons for anyone," she said, looking directly at her father, though the look was somewhat suspicious, "I will not deny I would have rather they proved useful in life also, The thousand left that were shaken did bolster the numbers of the main force, so that is perhaps unworthy of me."

"What are a thousand men to a dragon?" he asked rhetorically. "Not even worth consideration."

"True," Rhaena said in agreement, with a half smile, "Now the war is over, do you have anything in particular that you require me to do?" she asked, the question obviously leading up to something.

"You have rarely had trouble intuiting my wishes." he answered. "How much breath I would have saved if you had been born first."

"Probably still not enough," She commented, not feeling the least bit sorry for the private slight against Aegon, "The war in Oldtown did one thing very successfully, and that was the extent of the things that lie east of here than could be used against us, or used to aid us. I ask your permission to tour some of the cities to the east, specifically the far east, to see if anything of value lies there," she asked, if this was what he expected her to ask, or not, it was what she intended.

"The world should be reminded that we still have strength after this war." Maegor acknowledged. "You have my blessing, though I have a list of nations that require a reminder more than most. See that they are not neglected in your travels."

"They shall receive it, as soon as I receive your list," Rhaena said, nodding to the king with conviction, "Tyraxes should strike fear into the heart of anyone, but the true fear will be revealing he is but a baby still. Was there anything else, Your Grace?" She asked, inclining her head to the King.
