With him, he brought a few common medical supplies for wound treatment. He set to tending Sinner's wound the best he could.

There was little the young man could do but pull the javelin out of the dragon's breast; when he did so, Sinner screeched in pain and released a gout of flame up into the sky. When the barbed steel head came out, it was melted half to slag, and the magma-like blood of the dragon caused the dried grass to smoke and burn where it fell. After some examination of the wound, Orys determined that it would be at least a month until Sinner would be able to fly comfortably, but after that would be able to do so with no permanent impairment.
