Rhaella's camp at the Arbor. While Velaryon's men prepare for battle at sea, Rhaella and her dragonriders arrive at a secluded place on the Arbor for a final conference before battle.

Orys took the opportunity to dismount and stretch. He was not yet used to long stretches in the saddle. He stretched his legs tight at the height of each step as he walked to bring a little feeling back into them. He did this until he came to a shady spot under a tree, and sat beneath it. He fished at his pouch for two things: The draught for his arm and his whetstone. He downed the medicine in one swig and took his sword out in a relaxed fashion. He checked the edge, and when he discovered it was a little dull, took to honing it.

Tanis had landed and was lazily enjoying the sun as Arenya did the same on her back. She touched her now short hair, that no one had noticed since she wore her helm most of this time.
She stared up at the open sky, viewing the sliver of clouds that floated by. Feeling that she should take this moment and relax, because she knew that in a short while the battle would begin. She thought of the night before how time had almost slowed and allowed her to be knighted. If Baelon or Rhaella approached her about the new hairstyle she would tell them it was something she felt was needed for the upcoming battle.
There is a time and place for everything.

Aerion paced back and forth, armored in thick steel plate so dark it seemed almost black. "Why must they take so long?" He complained. "I would have the slaughter commence."

"Patience," Rhaella warned Aerion. "We're almost ready to go. We gain nothing from being reckless."

The Arbor is an expansive island with fertile soil, which allowed for the creation of numerous bustling villages on its shores. The main harbor for the island, and the main point from which various Arbor vintages are distributed, can be found in the town of Ryamsport. Starfish Harbor is another town of note, serving as the main point for constructing and repairing warships of the Redwyne Fleet. Lastly, there was the bustling Vinetown, dominated by Redwyne Keep, surrounded by the vineyards that had made the Arbor prosperous and world renown. All three sites would have to be taken to truly hold the island.
(Need to scout if you want more information.)

Rhaella looks around at her companions. "I need someone to do some scouting before we move into position."

Orys raised his good hand. "I'll scout, your grace. Sinner's a capable flyer, so it should be no problem for us." Scouting shouldn't be to hard, as he thought about it. Sinner could fly high and out of the way, and Orys knew enough about warfare to recognize the basics of enemy action.

"Excellent. I'd be most grateful," Rhaella answered. "Try to find out how many men they have, and if they have anything that might be used against dragons. And any weak spots of course. Redwyne Keep is the highest priority, of course." OOC - please make a post to state that you are scouting so Zack can post any extra info

Orys stepped away from the group and went to saddle Sinner. The young dragon was restless and eager to stretch his wings, and clawed at the ground lightly. "Easy now," Orys said, "We're only meant to scout. We'll be flying high and out of range." They ascended to the sky and Orys breathed in the fresh air and felt the wind rush through into his face. They flew over the enemy encampments and spied down on them, looking for what they were asked to find.

(OOC: Marie, I believe Baelon remained with the fleet, but I could be wrong.)
As Orys circled the Arbor upon sinner, it was clear that the Redwynes had considerably less dominance on land than they did at sea. All three sites had a token garrison of only a few hundred men-at-arms each. Each site had at least a dozen ballistae aimed skyward, though the Redwyne keep had at least a score.

OOC - PMed Baelon asking him to confirm his location. I've included orders for him below.
After Orys makes his report, Rhaella looks around at her companions. "We don't have the forces to take Redwyne Keep and the other locations at present. Baelon will link up with our Greyjoy allies and make sure they hold true. He will then join the battle at sea. The rest of us join the battle with Lord Velaryon and destroy the Redwyne fleet. We'll burn them where possible, but take care not to set our own ships alight."
She stopped to look around at them all.
"When the enemy fleet is destroyed or in our control, we will move on to Ryamsport with Lord Velaryon. From there we will secure the harbour and town. Then we shall move on Starfish Harbour. Finally, we will take Redwyne Keep and Vinetown. It is to be hoped that Lord Redwyne or his castellan will see the sense in surrendering without a fight once their fleet has been defeated and their other towns lie in our hands."
She looked at her companions in turn.
"Arenya, you shall take the left during our battle at sea. Aerion will take the centre and I will protect the right. Orys, you'll serve as scout and messenger if needed, else you will assist Aerion in the centre."

"Sounds good", she nodded, climbing down from Tanis' back and settled into her saddle, securing herself. "It has been a long while since I flew beside Lord Velaryon. Tanis should enjoy it."

"Indeed." Rhaella glanced at the others as she strode to Amethyst. "Unless someone else has further comments, we'll join the fleet at once."

Aegon, Arenya, and Trajan fly in formation over the Arbor. Their three great beasts are all unwounded and all impressively large. In contrast to the surreptitious landing of the earlier dragonriders, Aegon's group deliberately draws attention to itself. After a time, they land in a field outside of Redwyne's keep. They keep enough of a distance so as not to be overtly threatening, well out of range of Redwyne's archers or siege.
Aegon plants his oversized, seven-colored banner that represents truce and fair dealings, and waits.

A messenger arrives in short order, inviting them to enjoy Lord Paxton's in the hospitality of Redwyne Keep with the promise of safe passage.

"Stay with the dragons," Aegon instructs Arenya. Someone would need to watch them, and Aegon did not think he had to tell his battle-tested aunt what was to be done if Redwyne played them false.
Aegon then follows Paxton's man back to his keep.

Still sitting upon Tanis as he spoke, her jaw tensed as she nodded. "I will", she answered with a small tint of apprehension and worry for her nephew.
Arenya watched as he walked off with messenger. "Gods, be when him."
"You already know if anything should befall him, I shall bring this place to ash."
