Honeyholt is a castle situated on a bluff above the east bank of the Honeywine River, which flows from its headwaters in the mountains above Brightwater Keep, down into the Whispering Sound past Oldtown. Honeyholt is only two days' ride from the great city, and the Lords of Honeyholt have always been known for their wealth, coming primarily from the trade of beeswax and honey-mead. Their lands have seen better days, and the fields of beehives for which the lordly family is named are only a shadow of what they were before the war began.

Maekar appears aback Cyrax in the sky above Honeyholt. This close to Oldtown, he circles cautiously for a long time, before driving the dragon down tot eh ground and dismounting. "I am Ser Maekar Waters, come to seek an audience with Lord Beesbury," he called out to the men on the walls, once he determined that it was safe.

Unlike Uplands, the Beesbury men let him into the castle. Lord Beesbury is a young man no more than seventeen. He grins at Maekar. "My lord. You are most welcome. Can I be of service?"

"Good day, my lord," Maekar, said, bowing politely to the young lord. "My thanks for your kind welcome. I have come to call upon house Beesbury to send what troops they can to the Prince of Dragonstone and his army, which marches south toward Oldtown as we speak."

"Oh. I called the banners in case we were needed. I could give you...two hundred foot? If that will be good enough?" He seemed most anxious to please. "I'll lead them myself!"

"Indeed, that would be excellent. Your loyalty will not be forgotten, when this conflict is ended, my lord, of that you can be assured," Maekar replied. "How soon can they be ready to march? I will escort you to the Roseroad, where we can meet the Crown Prince as he marches south."
He was slightly suspicious of the man's eagerness, though it may just be attributed to youthful foolishness. He tried to remember how long this young man had been lord, and his relation to the previous Lord Beesbury. His suspicion did not show on his face, and he maintained an easy smile.

After a moment, Maekar recalled that the young lord's grandsire had been the previous lord, that the boy's father ha fallen at Oldtown with Prince Maeron. The grandfather had died two years ago."
"My men can leave within three hours? Four maybe. Not long, anyway. I'll leave my uncle as castellan."

Maekar nodded. "You and your men will be a welcome addition to the host, my lord," he said. "I will meet you outside, and Cyrax and I will escort you to the army."

"Of course, ser. Thank you. I'm looking forward to fighting the enemies of the crown." The boy grinned.

Maekar nodded, bowing again, and then turned and left the castle. A few hours later, when the army marched out of the gates, he and Cyrax flew above them, until they reached the Roseroad.
