Down one of the dragon pit's dim, winding tunnels, lies the little alcove set aside for Elseyris' dragon, Nenyan. It is a warm nook of packed dirt and rough rock, with a few small holes that allow light from the surface to come in.

Elseyris padded down towards Nenyan, who was curled up almost in a ball. She took the handkerchief filled with Kesi's mysterious plant seeds gingerly out of her pocket, making her way to the back of the alcove. She followed one of the shafts of pale light down to the ground, and knelt by the point where the light touched the warm, dry earthen floor.
Placing the seeds to one side, she used a small nearby rock to dig a shallow hole, then shook the seeds out of the handkerchief into it. She then scraped the soil back into place, pressing it down over the seeds.
Getting back on her feet, she turned to wake up Nenyan, so they could prepare to fly out to meet Aegon's summoning.

Leaving the escorting guards at the pit entrance, Elseyris walked down the familiar tunnels to where Nenyan had slept. As she entered his little nook, she began to cry, the cold reality that she would never see him again hitting her hard again. She sank to her knees on the soft, dry earth, and cried pitifully for a long time. Years ago, in happier times, she had sneaked down from her rooms and curled up beside Nenyan in his nest, much to her mother's despair.
Elsey had tried to imagine what bonding with a different dragon might be like, but right now, in the midst of all her memories of her lost companion, she could only think of how alone she felt without Nenyan.
"I miss you so much, Little Brother," she whispered through her tears.
Eventually, she calmed herself, remembering that she had a task at hand. Looking to the back of the cave, she got back to her feet, and walked over to where she had planted the seeds for Kesi, before she had left King's Landing. Where many plants would have withered in the dimness & dryness, or not sprouted at all, this one had flourished. Elsey wasn't sure if it was needed in it's entirety or not, so she pulled up half of the sprouted plants, and smoothed the soil over the hole again. Placing the small plants into a bag, she left for the dragonpit entrance.
