"Oh, I thought there were only three or four dragons the last time around. I just hope we can finally end this," Dany replied.

Daenerys, since she was near Baelor, decided to speak up. "You seem awfully excited to scorch folks, cousin," she told him in a neutral enough tone, as if they were all flying out for a hunt instead of battle. She gave Elseyris a brief knowing glance, but turned back to Baelor soon enough to offer him a sly smile. Dany's glance was troubling to Elseyris, as was her quip about scorching. She tried to shake the encroaching paranoid thoughts from her mind. She doesn't mean anything by that. Just a normal turn of phrase. The problem is in my head. Don't let it get to you, Elsie. She tried to keep her face brave and friendly. "Well, those with older dragons will need to do the majority of the...scorching... Mine is too young to be much use against fortifications. I think I'll mostly be scouting." She glanced around shyly, not really knowing what to say, and feeling foolish for just rambling.

"Ah, you should not bet on that. Mith here has a very bright flame. I believe I have heard somewhere that white flame burns the hottest," she replied, patting the dragons neck and even though her tone was a bit colder than the last time they'd spoken at the Tyroshi party, she found it a bit difficult to stay too mad at the girl for what she had done.

Elseyris perceived the change in Dany's tone, and lowered her head contritely. She also scowled a little down at Nenyan, who was oblivious to her disdain; This is your fault.

Aemy did not participate in the conversation. She waited for Aegon and Rhaegar to return in contemplative silence, though she acknowledge Dany's arrival with a polite nod.

Aegon nods, slowly. "I cannot hold you accountable for the actions of your father. We are all our own men. But I would be naive not to acknowledge that there are some men who would try to use you against the throne, as the eldest child of your father." Aegon thought, studying Rhaegar. After a time, he said, "Your sister gave an oath of loyalty to me before we assembled. I would have you do the same." Rhaegar shrugged his shoulders in resignation. "Tell me the words cousin and I will say them."

"Who will execute the King's justice while you fly with us, nuncle?" Aemy inquired of Ser Aemon.

"There but two people left for me to execute in the region. And both of those heads are waiting for me at Oldtown." Aemon replies with smile. "And, I'm sure neither of them will come very willingly."

Aemy laughed at that. "Leave the Dragonbane for me, I beg you. I sacrificed to Vhagar this morning, praying that She give me the strength to destroy him."

"If Ser Hecter is to fall in the upcoming battle then I fear it will take more then just one of us to do it." Aemon replies. "I believe that he would rather go down with a fight then to see himself led to my block."

"More's the pity," she replied, for she had envisioned parading a naked and chained Hector through the city in a triumph, that would end on Aegon's Hill. "Has the Queen and her party left yet? At this rate the Velaryon fleet will surely reach the Arbor before we cross the Mander."

"Aye, though hopefully won't need them. I'm sure we will have Oldtown already under our control by the time the fleet makes it back." He says with a smile while reaching down and patting Azuria's neck in confidence.

"Saving the orders issued by your father, our King, I so swear." said Rhaegar solemnly.

He says with a smile while reaching down and patting Azuria's neck in confidence. Aemy took a more cautious approach to the prospect of seizing Oldtown. Ever since her grandfather had been shot down over Oldtown, the city had proven it was well prepared to handle dragons. For once she was deeply grateful that Skysong was one of the swiftest dragons in the sky. His nimble flight would help her dodge the iron bolts loosed at them by the Faith Militant. "I hope you are right," she said. "I really think one of us should have flown ahead already as a scout, though that will be up to my brother. If he ever returns with that devilspawn of a fellow."

Aemon glances over towards the two discussing things in private, "One would think that the more dragons to assist in the taking of Oldtown the smoother things will go. A ballista can only be loaded so fast, whether it is being pointed towards the sky or towards the ground."

"Saving the orders issued by your father, our King, I so swear." said Rhaegar solemnly. "And I swear not to misuse your oath," Aegon answered in turn. And that seemed to settle the matter, at least so far as Aegon was concerned. "Let's get going then. Daylight's wasting." He remounted Glutton, flying back to the first clearing where the others were assembled.

"A dragon in unfaithful hands is the last thing we need," she replied, not caring that Baelor and Elsie could hear every word she said. "We shall see if my brother trusts him. He seems to trust very readily."

"If he wants to do something stupid, then so be it, there are more then enough of those faithful around to take care of a bad egg." He says glancing around. "Its another thing entirely if more then one is rotten." He claims.

"Indeed," Aemy replied darkly. "That is my fear as well."

"Then we should be sure to keep a look-out for any suspicious activity." Aemon says lowering his voice so the others in the clearing would not be able to hear him.

Mounting quickly, Rhaegar followed Aegon back towards the others. His face was solemn and set.

"Then we should have nothing to fear." Aemon says lightheartedly.

Aemy raised her eyebrow at Aegon as he returned with Aenar's son.
