The markets of sunspear are a sprawling area of the city, extending between the three walls in a cascading arrangement of buildings and ships. A collection of bazaars, dens, courts, and alleyways, it usually bustles with crowds of people, buying, selling or bartering over goods, and whose noise can be described as unending.

Morys walked along the streets of sunspear with two guards following him from behind, browsing the various wares and stands for anything of interests. He felt nervous on the inside, unused to simply walking about in a place with so many people, not on some task or assignment. The lack of direction made him feel a bit uneasy.
Truth be told however, he would rather walk about here endlessly then get to work fulfilling his mothers wish of him to, prove manhood, as she put it. He knew most would jump for joy once the strangeness wore off of their mothers offering them time with a whore, but for morys, the practice itself seemed somewhat lacking for him. Love and creating an heir seemed reasons to copulate, and morys felt neither for women one could simply buy, and felt even less for that of male companionship, almost gagging at the notion. And while the pleasure he was sure would be undeniably...pleasant, he had no desire for a bastard to be born from him just so soon, not while he himself was still working out what it meant to be a good son.
Morys pushed these thoughts from his mind as he looked to nearby stand of fine and multicolored cloth. He stopped and examined a sample of the more rougher material, wondering a moment if it might make for a good Brigandine in vibrant, bloody red.

A woman smiled sweetly at him as he fingered the material. "Oh, the colour would suit you very well, m'lord," she cried. "Though you would look even better in silks. May I show you those?"
He noticed that the woman was young and pretty.

Morys jumped a bit at hearing someone addressing him, looking up as a surprised expression crossed his face, "What!?" he asked, louder then he had meant, before a blush crossed his face, "I mean, um, I'm sorry. For my rudeness, I mean. I hadn't expected anyone to..." he said before he gave a bit of a nod, eyes looking off a moment as he brought an arm behind his back, giving a small bow.
"I apologize, I had other things on my mind and was distracted." He said, much calmer and under control as he looked up to the women, "My name is Morys, If I may ask for yours, my lady?"

She smiled and coyly lowered her eyes. "I'm not a lady, m'lord. Please, won't you buy something?" Her eyes pleaded with him and he knew that for the mercantile class, they were reliant on the custom of his own kind.

Morys looked to her, a small smile on his face as he spoke, "Straight to the point it seems. Though I would appreciate know your name." Morys said as he rose from his bow, looking to the red color once more, "Do you really think the color suits me?" he said, looking to her in the eyes as he sounded sincere in his question. "I think I will be buying something from this shop regardless, so you might as well be honest about it."

She smiled. "My name is Cedra, m'lord. I run this stall with my mother. The colour does suit you. I think you'd look good in lots of colours. Red and green and blue." Her smile showed that she had a particular love of bright colours.

"Cedra. That is a lovely name." He said as he gave a polite bow to her, considering her suggestion. "Blue or Greens are nice colors. Colors of the sea have always had an appeal." he said as he went over towards the silks, feeling them as he paused.
"This silk is a very nice quality, if you do not mind me saying." he said looking to her, a bit of a glint in his eyes as he spoke next, "I was curious however, if you had some rougher materials available. Perhaps something durable, that will not require much mending."

"We do. My mother tends that stall. She says that the silks will get more attention if the stall holder is young and pretty. She's right, too. We have some different types of material that will serve. That's our stall, there." She indicated a stall a short distance away where an older woman, clearly her mother, waited.

"Ah, I see..." Morys said, blushing a bit as he looked a bit downcast, "I suppose it worked well on me..." he said as he seemed to cheer up quickly. "Regardless, I'd like to see what quality your mother has to offer, Cedra. I thank you for your honesty." He said as he gave her a courteous and slight bow of appreciation.

Cedra blushed at the hint of a bow. No man had ever given her that kind of courtesy before. "You are most kind, m'lord. Mother will have seen us talking. she'll see you right. But I hope you will come back after and buy some silks from me?" She smiled very sweetly.

"But of course," Morys said with a warm smile, "Your silks are lovely, I look forward to buying some." he said as he gave her a nod, looking to the other stand as he walked towards it, looking to the older women as he gave a similar bow.
"Good Morrow." Morys said with a courteous nod of his head to the older women, "My name is Morys. I was told by Cedra you have some fine material of a more durable nature." He said with a smile, looking at her wares to see the different materials layed out.

Cedra's mother had quite a large array of materials, all of them thick and durable, though none were pretty. Most were dark colours, chiefly black, brown and grey, but there was a dark blue, a forest green and a deep red. All seemed well made as far as Morys could tell.
"Please, m#'lord Morys, I would be happy to help you," the woman said.

Morys held up a sample of the black cloth, rubbing the rougher material between his fingers as he examined it with his eyes. It seemed thick enough, and solid enough to be usable.
"I'll take some of this." Morys said as he held the black cloth, after a moment, he reached out and rested his hand on some of the deep red as well, "And some of this, as well. In equal part with this." he said as he lifted the black colored fabric to show what he meant.

"Of course, m'lord." She took out a ruler and some scissors and began to cut the material to the required length, at his direction. "You honour me with your custom," she said.
