Half a fortnight after his dramatic request of the Queen for permission to bond a dragon, word returns from Dragonstone that Lord Orys Dondarrion of Nightsong was killed. His body is reportedly being shipped back to Blackhaven to be interred with his ancestors. The news of his death is rife with political implications along the Dornish border especially; his lady wife and young son, the new Lord of Nightsong, had remained in the Marches, and when when she received the news of Lord Orys' death Lady Helaena Caron was reportedly more concerned for the defenses of her estates, than for the loss of her husband.
