Rumor has it that a pair of particularly ostentatious Pentoshi ships docked in the harbor of King's Landing bear envoys from multiple of the Free Cities. Some say that they have joined together and mean to declare war on Westeros, others whisper that they come to beg for aid against the Burned Rider, though many in King's Landing dismiss tales of a dragon rider made of lava stone as fanciful Eastern twaddle.
What is not a rumor is that three man have already been caught trying to sneak onto the ships, and turned over to the City Watch to have their hands cut off for thievery, leaving many wondering what could be on those ships that is so secret and valued.
