After his father's treason, Valarr grew on the cares of the new monarch and her councillors. The years on court developed inside him a platonic passion for the Queen, resulting on the pledge his life and honor to her. Unlike Maelys, he'd never betray her, much less to fight for that Rhoynish whore, Visenya, to whom his father had given so much love and attention, attention that was rightfully his.
The winning of several tournaments and his youthful natural beauty gave him the byname "Fair Dragon". And even before getting married, at the age of 21, he had already fathered a couple bastards around Westeros. Even though, his marriage to the Redwyne girl turned out to to be really tranquil, unlike his father's. After two years of wedlock his wife gave birth to Viserys, the heir of Oldtown
Since young Valarr had been fascinated with dragons and he tried to learn everything possible about them. He now waits the permission of his beloved Queen to get the opportunity of taming one of those majestic creatures.
