Every interaction you had with him, you made it worse instead of making it better. He was just doing his job, you didn't have to antagonize him and then get surprised when he reacted lol And I was just playing my character, who actually did try to do good, despite what you may think. Kindly reserve your rather harsh judgement. Maekar certainly didn't act perfectly all the time, but you don't see me having a go at you for that.  Addendum: "every interaction" is also inaccurate. After the unnecessary torture, she just did everything he said without any resistance. So I think you are being judgemental and are wrong. |

The issue is that all of this is subjective. What you call "unnecessary torture" he called "a slightly entertaining diversion. What you call "erratic" he would have called "pure logic." One of the benefits of being a sociopath is that emotions didn't cloud anything for him. He probably thought the rest of you for the erratic ones with your pride and love and ambition and attachments.
None of my NPCs were dicks for the sake of being dicks. They all had layers and motive for all of their actions.

Haha I wasn't criticizing, just discussing the motivations of my NPCs now that most of the hated ones are dead. Not everything is a slight.
