Jorian's tone became amused and sardonic;
"Couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow."
He drained his goblet and refilled it, offering the bottle to Sergio.

"Maekar had him killed. He is a ruthless son of a bitch." Sergio replied honestly.

Sergio laughed, "I myself do not believe in curses. Aegon is young and untried. Maekar knows what he wants, and would cut a thousand throats for it."

"It was my understanding that Aegon had broken several sieges in the Westerlands, and at Oldtown. It was quite the battle, so I heard."

"Of course. That seems like a grand idea. When do you plan on hosting it?" Sergio replied with a wink.

Sergio smiled, "That sounds like a good plan." He stared the other man directly in the eye. "You do me quite the honor."

Jorian gave Sergio a look of genuine affection;
"It is the least I can do for such a friend as yourself."

"It is appreciated of course." Sergio replied. He looked about the room. "Any news of the city since I have been gone."
