"To Dorne," they all echoed, and drank.

After a while, Olyvar said to Elyas "Is there anything the rest of us can do to help you prepare?"

Olyvar sighed. "Unfortunate. We shall have to shift for ourselves then. Such is a hero's life. We'll just have to proceed with caution, though. Though we also have to beware of trouble at the harbour, and in making our way towards the mountain. None of us have ever visited Dragonstone. A pity we have no map."

"That might serve," Olyvar mused. "Though Lady Catelyn would be advised not to draw attention to herself. You don't get many female mercenaries. But you and I shall be fine, and Arron can stay with the ship. He and I were mercenaries until recently, so I know how to play the role."

Catelyn rolled her eyes when her name was mentioned. "Oh, how silly! But fear not, I shall behave. I shall trust to you two fine knights to keep me safe," she teased.

Olyvar thought for a moment "We will have to carry them in sacks, I fear. We have no other choice, my friend. If we need anything from the town, one of us will have to go alone, and meet the others on the road. It's best if we steer clear of the people as much as possible."

"None," said Ser Arron. "I must stay to guard the ship in any case. We will need it to make our escape."

Catelyn said "I don't mind, but I hope I may carry the smallest sack. I am not quite so strong as you fine knights."

"I think that is as much planning as we can do now. I only hope we don't run into pirates. That would be the height of bad luck."

Two days later, however, the group of conspirators were dining in the captain's cabin when a sailor rushed in "Sails, captain! Sails up ahead! Come see!"

Arron frowned and looked to the others. "Let's go see. Did you recognise the flag? Was there a sigil?" He asked the sailor.

"A blue flag, captain. I don't know what sigil, it was too far away to make it out, and we don't have a lens."

"There's one here<" Arron said, taking out the Myrish lens and standing.

Olyvar and Catelyn hurried to get their weapons. Arron beckoned to Elyas, "Come with me? I'd like a second opinion. Olyvar can ready the crew." Arron then rushed out on deck.

Out on deck, they could see two ships in the distance. Ser Arron, frowning, put the lens to his eye and looked at the sigil of the distant ships. "Purple grapes on blue. That's Redwyne, is it not? I wonder what they are doing here?. Gods, we'll have to be careful. We certainly can't fight two ships, and maybe more. Redwyne has an entire fleet, I hear."

"Perhaps not quite far enough," Arron said. "We'll need to hang back a while, I think. We daren't engage them. I just hope they don't see us. But perhaps we may learn something of their intentions."

OOC - it was mentioned at Sunspear about Maegor dying and Daenya's ransom being paid by Maekar, but I doubt the majority of the court knows the specific details, so you'd likely know there was some conflict without any real details

"Time will tell. But the ships are sailing north, not towards us, so that means we're not their target, and not the pirates I heard about in the Stepstones either. Must be someone else. Aye, perhaps they mean to attack Kings Landing," he said with a grin.

`"Some sort of conflict with the Iron Throne, I suppose. We know Maegor is dead. Perhaps his children are fighting amongst themselves? Let's hope so. All the more chance of success for us if they aren't looking to guard their lands. But we must still be wary," Arron observed.

"I agree. We'll follow them, see what they do. If there's trouble, all the better for us, I think. We might be able to slip onto the island unnoticed, if the trouble has spread there too," Arron ventured. "But it's nothing to do with us, of course."
