Not having the lesser rooms of a Princess these days, Rhaena made inquiries to her guards as to who it was knocking before letting them in.

Lord Sergio Delinal was at the doors wearing rough peasant garb.

Rhaena had him shown in and offered him a seat as soon as he entered, sitting herself, her crown not on her head but laid almost haphazardly on her desk.
"You are a long way from King's Landing," she said in way of greeting with a smile.

"I am, but I am a good deal closer to my home of Braavos." Sergio bowed deeply to her. "I am not sure what I am suppose to call you then."

"Your grace, Your royal highness," she said, raising her chin to look at him and turning her head slightly before lowering it and smiling slightly, Sergio was not her subject "or just Rhaena, whichever takes your fancy."
"Have you lost all of your vast fortune?" she asked, meaning the peasant garb, the times she had seen him he has always been well dressed, when he was dressed at all.

"I have not lost my fortune, but I have traveled here incognito." Sergio replied. "There are those who would have me killed if they could arrange it."

"Getting into trouble in the Capital?" she asked, leaning forward and pouring two glasses of wine, "Who are these people? If someone wanted to kill me, I would call them out, and give them their chance. They could pay for it with their life."

Sergio laughed, and took the glass from her. His finger caressed her hand as she handed it to him. "That has never been my style. I am more a creature of the night." He winked knowingly at her before sipping the wine.

"dodging my questions too," she said, pulling her hand back, quickly, but not enough to imply it shocked her, "Why are you on dragonstone? Why not go home if you are in deep water?"

"If you were trying to find a man to murder him, the first place you would look is his home." Sergio replied. "I come here though to inform you something you must already know. Your father was murdered."

"Braavos is a big place," Rhaena said, but shrugged, but paused at his last part, she had still not given herself time to Mourn her father, he would not have approved of sitting grieving, he would want her to repay the debt with fire and blood, "It seems dragons travel faster than you do, My Lord, we have known for some time. Maekar had his mistress do it, or so we heard, and they will both pay for it, with more than their lives."

"I admit that my speed does not equal that of a dragon." Sergio replied, he smirked and bowed to her. "Though I do think it is quite clear that Vira was not truly responsible for the murder of your father. She would never have been so clumsy about the whole thing."

"I don't know? Did you ever meet her?" she asked, "She was clumsy enough to fall into bed with a traitor." So had she been, but that was besides the point, "If it was not her, who else could it be?"

"I am not sure who struck the blow, but she is not the type to murder a king in a rage. She is a cold snake. One to strike from behind or the shadows. Murdering a man with no plan is not her style. She would have planned it out, and seduced some fool to murder him for her." Sergio smirked, and chuckled, "Her only goal is placing her man atop the iron throne, and murdering the king was not helpful to that goal at all."

"Not well acquainted, but I have friends who keep me well informed." Sergio replied. "Do not take me wrong she would have killed your father given the chance but not in that style. She would have had him die in bed from an apparent illness I wager."

Sergio thought a moment before replying, "A man I trust was approached by her and hired to murder the king." He watched the queen closely.

Rhaena looked at him for a long moment, eyes giving away a multitude of emotions, but other than that, her demeanour remained like a placid lake, "So she is responsible for his death? As is Maekar? Then they will both die."

"I am not sure. My friend of course refused them. He did not want to be responsible for such a crime, but they could have found another. Though the manner of this death is far from what they proscribed." Sergio replied thoughtfully. "It is definitely true that they wished him harm."

"If someone stabbed you, you would not go after the knife, would you?" Rhaena reasoned, "If they had an assassin kill him, even if it not in the manner they intended, they are as equally guilty as if they did the deed themselves, and they will pay for it." Rhaena assured him, "Not that the assassin is innocent, but they are hardly my concern, unless that same person has been paid to also target Aegon or myself."
"Do you know who it is they asked, out of curiosity?"

"I do. He lives in King's Landing." Sergio replied, "I could give you his name, but it changes with every job he takes. He is known to a few as Coldwind." He shrugged apologetically. "He is not the kind of man who reveals his true name."
