If we're doing Dictators, I'm totally gonna be Sulla.
Wait, is Zack Sulla already? Shit. I'll be… Kim Jong Il.
If we're doing English Monarchs, I'm calling Edward III.

He ran a dictatorial regime. Elizabeth Bathory however did not.

The USSR didn't become a dictatorship until Stalin drove Lenin out and seized power though.

For monarchs later on I shall be Elizabeth I.

I would count most nobility with a certain amount of power before the 17th century as dictators. If you don't think my choice is apt, I'll be Robespierre.
Also my English Monarch is the best monarch ever: George IV.

Jean-Jacques Dessalines, self declared Emperor of Haiti.
Because its always a good sign when someone declares themselves an emperor.

The USSR didn't become a dictatorship until Stalin drove Lenin out and seized power though. The USSR was a dictatorship the second that the Bolsheviks seized power. And Stalin didn't drive Lenin out. Lenin died, and Stalin drove Trotsky out.

Ooops good point, I forgot about Trotsky. You could argue, though, that Russia was a dictatorship under the Czars also, for centuries before the Bolsheviks took over too.

It was an autocracy. But a monarchy and a dictatorship aren't the same thing.

I kinda think it's leaning more toward "tyrants" than "dictators". Other than Cincinnatus, at least.
