I know that. But Robert doesn't even have a guard made up of the Crownlands men either, which is kind of like his demesne as king. And the City Watch guards the whole city, not just the Red Keep.

The king has the KG as his personal guard, what more is needed really beyond numbers haha.

Edits to skills are allowed up until the launch of the game, as there are no rolls during pre-game RP. Dragon bonuses, however, are locked.

The king has the KG as his personal guard, what more is needed really beyond numbers haha. But look at Robert's Kingsguard. Most of them are Lannister lackeys and it's established that as a group they are nowhere near as talented as many of their predecessors. Aside from Jaime, whose loyalty Robert really shouldn't have counted on, the only one who was really good was Barristan himself. Arys Oakheart clearly wasn't in thrall to the Lannisters but even his sword skills probably aren't that great. Regarding alterations to character sheets, can I just point out that there is still time to add war stories if it's fitting for the character to have participated, though we would like any such information posted in the war thread too. I've still got a couple of things to write up myself in that respect. Also, is anyone actually handling the matter of the Valyrian gods? |

Cool I think we said Balerion for king of the gods and Vhagar for a goddess of war but that's as far as it went. I wanted to name the goddess of love Andraste because that's the name I wanted to give Adara's dragon if I ever let her have one. But she could just worship a Lyseni or Summer Isles goddess instead if need be. |

Given my time zone (GMT), I might not be back at the computer before the game start time, but I want to shuffle my skills around a bit (move espionage up to expert, move dragon-handling to noteworthy, shift High Valyrian down to the bottom). Could a GM adjudicate on my behalf, please?

This is also not "let's ask mom for what we want because dad said no" time. If you have an issue, I expect both admins to be kept in the loop from the start.

Replying before I get too drunk to. I am not saying this was a democracy, it wasn't an actual request for a petition, it was raising the point of the double standard. And if you had been on when it first happened, and not been in bed, you'd have known. I didn't go to mum cause dad said no, dad didn't say anything and I went to the admin online. And in a chat that you yourself are part of. Some people seem to think it is okay to let some players do admining for them and yet I can't raise a point about one person breaking the rules in the general board where it should be and not on other peoples profiles.

I do not see a double standard or any rule violation, but we can discuss it in private.
I gave Maekar permission to have a dragon at game start, the same benefit you all share. What he puts in his character history prior to that or adds to the pre-rp for flavor., including losing a dragon prior to the game start, affects no one but him. |
