Hi guys. I'm really sorry but I'm not sure I can do this after all. I've been feeling pretty rough recently due to the job search then other things best left unmentioned. I probably shouldn't have let myself be talked into it.

I really am sorry. I just wish I didn't feel so damned depressed and/or angry all the time. That's probably not the best frame of mind for attempting to run a game. I seriously hate this job search crap. Couldn't get anywhere before I got a degree and apparently it's still not enough. I hate it so much. I'm so tired of rejection.

Just for the sake of it, does anyone wanna roll if I woulda gotten Cyrax or not?

Holy shit, I'm only seven minutes in and this is waaaaay better than I expected. I was thinking it'd be some bare-bones Mass Effect Genesis shit.

If Rhaena never responds and Orys's dreams of shagging the queen and/or reaping untold power never come to pass, I'm making this guy.

The Keep will grant me the chance to see what the world state would be like for an evil Warden, something I constantly chickened out for fear of losing the companions. I lost a couple in my 2nd game by mistake, never had the willpower to do it deliberately. I was astounded by the level of detail you can put in the game. It even mentioned giving Sten back his sword. I never thought they'd go as far as that.

Such a pity the game won't be out for another 2 and a half months. The order is sitting in my Origin account and taunting me every time I go in to do something else. Alas, the stupid staggered release means I won't get it until after you guys, even though I got the digital download and can preload it on the 17th.

Glad to see I am not the only one who isn't a Leilana fan. Somehow she is my least fave companion in Origins. Team Zevran! All my Wardens romanced Zev, even if they ended up with someone else in the end.

I've been spending a lot of time in Thedas lately. DA2 is much more interesting when I haven't played it for a couple of years. I accidentally made myself like Fenris, who I hated in early games. It's so much fun making him a rival to Lyanna Hawke (diplomatic mage) but also madly in love with her when he hates mages so much.

I will soon, just didn't want to do it straightaway in case someone objected so figured I'd allow that opportunity if need be.

Amusing but slightly worrying. I have never understood why people who hate magic in have to demonise it. I kinda want to tell uber-religious people that the Bible is as much a literary construct as Harry Potter (but I won't).

Also, I miss you guys. Life is kinda dull when there's no RP going. I know, it's partly my fault there's not but I am feeling the loss right now.

On the plus side, parents went off on their post-retirement holiday this week so I'm using the lack of other people in the kitchen to experiment with recipes from A Feast of Ice and Fire. It's a fun experiment. I'm currently waiting for the Dornish flatbread dough to rise.
