There have been 5 Lords Fossoway in the last 5 years, and the most recent one was beheaded by my character for surrendering to the Faith too quickly. It's highly unlikely House Fossoway have had any fosterlings in the last few decades. Also, I don't know if you knew, but this war against the Faith has been raging for about 45 years in-game, and the Reach has been the region most consistently ravaged by warfare during that time.
The Knight Inquisitors never tried to attaint House Oakheart either, and Lord Oakheart is alive and named Jasper or something; he's with the royal army although after seeing the Faith Militant slaughter a thousand of his men he's kind of had a nervous breakdown.
