Appearance:
Orys Storm, despite the name, bears little mark of the Stormlands in his appearance. Instead, his face reflects his dragon blood: His blond-silver hair falls to his shoulders and into his face, often covering his pale, purple eyes. His face is an easy one, the face of a singer, not a warrior, bearing no mark or imperfection, aside from a small scar above his left eye. Unlike most who have Valyrian lineage, Orys would not be called a tall man. Certainly no dwarf, he would be of average height. He prefers dark clothes of black and gray to offset his pale skin and features. Much to his shame, he has no facial hair, not even stubble. He is well muscled from his arms training.
Personality:
Charming and always wearing a smile, Orys has sometimes been called "more fool than fighter". They wouldn't necessarily be wrong, but Orys is not entirely devoid of a warrior spirit. He is a man of ambition who often drives his goals forward with both sword and word.
He's a kind soul, at heart, but his upbringing has left him slightly bitter and yearning for more. He often finds himself torn between doing right by others or doing good by himself. He wields his words like other men wield a sword, and is generally well liked at court.
He's got a tactical mind, carefully analyzing both the battlefield and the courtroom. Though, like in life, his mind and his heart are often at war. His desire to prove himself to the court, and more importantly, his Targaryen kin, often drive him over his head in schemes or promises.
Background: Orys is the bastard son of Prince Gaemon and Sallei Penrose. He spent his early childhood in a manse in King's Landing with his younger sister Taena, until he was brought up to the Red Keep by his father at eight years of age. Swiftly thereafter, he was put both in the yard and in the court, where he proved himself adept in both. Over the years, his body hardened, his tongue sharpened, and his mind grew brighter. And his work must have caught the eye of his father, because on his seventeenth name day, he was given his own dragon egg. He treated the egg as his pried possession, until a year later when it hatched, hatching his dragon at age eighteen. This dragon, which he named Sinner, would prove to be his constant companion.
Orys has spent much of the next few years bonding to Sinner in the Dragon Pit, but the time he didn't was spent in the Red Keep cultivating friendships and making contacts with the various lords, ladies, and knights of the court. He had much to overcome given his bastard status, but that wasn't anything a little dragon blood and charm couldn't fix. Soon, he was quite popular among the court as a one who knew how to have a good time.
